Powers
As a result of genetic engineering when they were still in utero, the twins possess bio-energy powers which only function if the twins are in physical contact - usually by holding hands. Andreas fires bolts of pure concussive force. Their powers also allow them to fly; however, only when they are in physical contact.

Abilities
Andreas is a phenomenal acrobat and hand-to-hand combatant, skilled in the use of all bladed weapons. He is fluent in German, albeit out of practice.

Other Info
Andreas and his twin sister Andrea were the children of Baron Strucker. While the twins were still in their mother's uterus they were genetically modified, giving them bio-energy powers which they can use when in physical contact with one another. Baron Strucker instilled in his twins his Nazi values. Therefore, Andreas grew up as a white supremacists who had great sympathy for the Nazi agenda, and strove for the Fourth Reich. Later, discovering they were both mutants, the twins became costumed supervillains known as "Fenris." (To learn about the characters, group, and/or team above, just click on their highlighted names.)

At one point, Andreas' father appeared to have seemingly died in an incident involving Magneto and Professor X. For this, the Strucker twins despised Magneto. Therefore, as the years passed, Fenris finally made for an attack on Magneto during his trial in Paris by the International Court of Justice for his crimes against humanity. Unfortunately for them, the X-Men showed up and foiled their assassination attempt; however, the twins managed to escape. (To learn about the characters and/or team highlighted above, just click on their names.)

Later on, Andreas and Andrea joined the Upstarts (a group of mutant millionaires who engaged in a campaign of murder as part of a game organized by the Gamesmaster and the Hellfire Club's former Black Queen, Selene). As part of the Upstarts, Fenris captured many members of the New Mutants and the Hellions. They also had run-ins with Generation X, Quicksilver, and Gambit on a couple occasions. Fenris even tried to acquire Omega Red for the Upstarts, but failed. The twins ultimately met their match when they tried to kill Wolfsbane. She, along with her new X-Factor teammates, easily defeated the Andreas and his sister. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the teams and/or characters. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by some on the Hellfire Club and Hellions' bio pages.)

After the fall of the Kingpin, Andreas and Andrea joined a conference of powerful criminal leaders who intended to divide up the Kingpin's empire. Among the members of the conference were Slug, Hammerhead, Tombstone, and their half-brother Werner von Strucker (however, the twins did not believe Werner was actually their sibling). At the conference, many arguments happened which resulted in a shouting, shooting, and blasting match. Fenris attempted to kill Hammerhead; however, he was rescued. In the end, Werner was killed by their father (who was disguised at the conference as Werner's assistant). Before the twins could make more of a claim to the Kingpin's empire, the meeting was broken up by Daredevil, Nomad, and the Punisher.(To learn about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

After, Baron Helmut Zemo killed Andrea to keep her from telling anyone his secret of being in Citizen V (John Watkins III)'s body, Andreas was shattered emotionally. Seeing potential in Andreas' abilities and the opportunity to exploit his fractured mental state, Zemo (unknown to Andreas) employed the Purple Man to brainwash and train Andreas to become the new "Swordsman." While being brainwashed, Andreas tanned his sister's skin which he created into a leather strap grip for his sword, which allowed him to harness Fenris' powers. In his first outing as the Swordsman, Andreas sought revenge on his father and attacked him at HYDRA headquarters. However, Andreas' attempted assassination of his father was interrupted by Wolverine (who had been brainwashed as well into becoming an assassin by HYDRA). This resulted in the Swordsman and Wolverine clashing over who would get to kill the Baron and ultimately neither succeeded. In the end, the Swordsman ended up saving Wolverine from plummeting to his death, which allowed the Baron to escape. The two would-be assassins parted ways, both deciding to take their vengeance with the Baron later. (To learn about the characters and/or team above, just click on their highlight names. Also, Andreas as the Swordsman is shown in the first, fifth, and sixth pictures posted above.)

Later, when HYDRA launched an attack on New York City, Andreas fought alongside Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, and the Thunderbolts against legions of HYDRA soldiers. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or team. Note: Beware of the form-fitting outfits on the Thunderbolts' and Ms. Marvel's bio page.)

Wanting to strike back at Zemo for his sister's murder, Andreas ended up joining Zemo's team of Thunderbolts under his new "Swordsman" identity. And when the Purple Man was eventually defeated by the Thunderbolts, Andreas was confronted by Zemo, who revealed himself as the mastermind behind his training. Despite this revelation, the Swordsman stayed with the group. However, when both Zemo and the Grandmaster made a play for the Wellspring of Power, the Swordsman and the Thunderbolts opposed them, and stopped them. (To learn about the the Grandmaster, click on his highlighted name above.)

Some time later, the Swordsman was one of the few Thunderbolts who remained with the team as they became a Government-sanctioned superhero team (despite having an all-villain lineup) led by Norman Osborn. While active on the team, Andreas was re-united with his deceased sister, Andrea, who mysteriously returned from the dead (she claimed to have been resurrected by Arnim Zola's cloning process). However, Osborn became suspicious of how quickly Zola was able to create her. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters.)

During the Skrull's Secret Invasion, the twins joined the Thunderbolts in battle against the aliens. But, when Moonstone attempted to cut a deal for part of the conquered planet, Andrea attacked her. She was preparing to finish off Moonstone, when she was stabbed and killed from behind by Bullseye. With Andrea dead, Osborn lied and tricked Andreas into believing that it was the Skrulls who had murdered his sister and not Bullseye, hoping to inspire him in battle against the Skrulls. This lead to the Swordsman destroying an entire Skrull ship single-handedly. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the different race, event, and/or characters. Note: Beware of the very skin-tight outfit worn by Moonstone on her bio pags.)

Later on, after the end of the Secret Invasion, Osborn was promoted as the new director of SHIELD. As director, he announced that he was going to dismantle the current Thunderbolts program. In addition, Osborn promoted Bullseye, Moonstone, and Venom to his new team of government-sanctioned Avengers. Bullseye and Venom were ordered to kill Songbird; however, Andreas arrived and saved her from being killed. The Swordsman let Songbird escape and made it look as if she died in an explosion to help her go into hiding. Andreas then realized that he, like Songbird, had no place within Osborn's plan. So, he decided to confront Osborn. However, during the confrontation, Osborn grabbed Andreas' sword and killed him. (To learn about the team highlighted above, just click on their name.

One day, in Africa, Storm interrupted Andreas' attempt to assault a native woman. In retaliation for humiliating her brother, Andrea shot Storm (who was powerless at the time) and left her to die. Realizing this, Zemo quickly killed Andrea to keep her from telling anyone his secret. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the different characters.)

At one point, Andrea mysteriously returned from the dead (not long after Andreas had contracted to have her cloned by Arnim Zola). A U.S. Army Ranger serving in Afghanistan, Marcus Johnson battleed alongside his best friend Phil "Cheese" Coulson. (To learn more about Agent Coulson, click on the highlighted name above.)

Later on, Johnson received word that his mother had died, and he returned to Atlanta to attend her funeral (also secretly attended by Captain America and Sharon Carter). Following the funeral, Marcus visited his mother's home. As he was looking through the home, Johnson discovered blood and a bullet casing--he realized that his mother's death had actually been a murder. When he was leaving the house, Marcus came under fire from a sniper, followed by a coordinated attack by Russian mercenaries. Even though he was able to defeat them all, when the Taskmaster arrived it was too much to handle. However, just before the Taskmaster could kill him, Captain America and a small army arrived, saving his life. (To learn about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

Following this, Johnson was taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. He continued to question why everyone was after him and why his mother was killed, but Captain America refused to explain. After this, Johnson escaped and went to find out to find answers by himself. With the help of his friend Coulson, they tried to track down his mother's assassin. During this time, they had to battle Deadpool and the Serpent Society, who were all after Johnson. Eventually, they find Johnson's mother's killer--Orion, who was also after Johnson to use his blood to regain his immortality. (It was during this time that Marcus Johnson found that he was the son of Nick Fury, and he was born with the Infinity Formula in his blood.) It was during these battles that Johnson's left eye was cut out. However, in the end, Johnson defeats Leviathan with the help of the Avengers, Nick Fury, and Phil Coulson. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the team, character, and/or item Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by many on the Serpent Society's bio page.)

Soon after, both Johnson (now being called by his real name--Nick Fury Jr.) and Coulson joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and as agents. Nick Fury Jr. was given the Super Soldier uniform that Steve Rogers once wore. They reported to Director Daisy Johnson. (To learn about Quake, click on her highlighted name above. Also, Nick Fury Jr. in the Super Soldier uniform is shown in the first and fifth pictures posted above.)

At one point, Nick Fury Jr. accompanied Agent Coulson to meet with a traveler from the future who described the origins of several superheroes before launching an attack on a battalion of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Coulson managed to disable the traveler. In response to the attack, S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Maria Hill decided to create S.H.I.E.L.D.'s own "Secret Avengers" team. Both Nick Fury Jr. and Agent Coulson joined the ranks of the team and were responsible for recruiting their first members. Some of these first recruits were former members of the original Secret AvengersHawkeye, and Black Widow. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or team. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by Black Widow on her bio page.)

Due to the sensitive nature of their missions, every member (except Nick Fury Jr.) received memory implants, making them forget everything they did for the period of the operations. Their first operation was to foil a plan of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda from using teleportation knowledge given by Andras Bertesy to execute a terrorist attack to the United States. On their second mission, the team rescued Taskmaster from Bagalia, in order to use him to infiltrate in A.I.M.'s new High Council which consisted of Andrew Forson, Graviton, Jude the Entropic Man, Mentallo, Superia, and Black Widow (Yelena Belova). However, during the confusion of a battle between the two groups that happened at a weapons expo, Forson stole an Iron Patriot armor, and the Secret Avengers, with the addition of Hulk now, were given an order to go after Andrew Forson. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the team and/or characters. Note: Beware of the revealing outfit worn by Black Widow on her bio page.)

There is nothing there, but her is the link to Nick Fury Jr. on Marvel.com, marvel.com/universe/Jr._Fury,_Nick.

The main reason of the creation of the "Nick Fury Jr." character was the ascending popularity of the Cinematic Marvel Universe (movie) version of Nick Fury. It wasn't until 2011 that Nick Fury Jr. entered into the main Marvel universe in the comic books.

Other Info
During World War II, Baron von Strucker created an organization known as HYDRA. He divided HYDRA into two branches: the Secret Empire and Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). As the scientific research division, A.I.M.'s purpose was to design weapons for HYRDA. (To learn about HYDRA, click on their highlighted name above.)

In the late 1960’s, A.I.M. seceded from HYDRA because of political differences and began independent operations. A.I.M. first came to public attention when it was incorporated as an international cartel dealing with the development and marketing of new technological products. It supplied hardware and weapons to governmental and quasi-governmental agencies. Some time after this, Colonel Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. exposed A.I.M. to be a subversive organization. Although S.H.I.E.L.D believed it had put an end to A.I.M.'s operation, much of the organization's membership escaped capture. Since then, all of A.I.M.’s activities have been covert. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about Nick Fury and/or S.H.I.E.L.D.)

A.I.M. has been involved in the creation of three major instruments of deadly potential. The first is the Super-Adaptoid, an android capable of duplicating any super power. The second instrument was the Cosmic Cube, an unimaginably powerful object capable of restructuring reality itself. The third major achievement of A.I.M. is the creation of M.O.D.O.K. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing), an artificially mutated human being with an enormous head and a stunted body possessing superhuman intelligence and the ability to generate mental energy bolts and forcefields. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the objects, projects, and/or characters.)

Later on, when Baron von Strucker seemingly perished in the destruction of HYDRA Island, A.I.M. (now led by M.O.D.O.K.) broke all ties with the Secret Empire and HYDRA. The organization eventually succeeded in overthrowing the government of the Caribbean island-nation of Boca Caliente, rechristening it “A.I.M. Island." (To learn about HYDRA Island, click on the highlighted name above. Also, M.O.D.O.K. with his A.I.M. agents is shown in the fourth picture posted above.)

When M.O.D.O.K. took over A.I.M., two different splinter groups of escaped A.I.M. agents emerged. One group often clashed with M.O.D.O.K.'s A.I.M. while the other unsuccessfully attempted to create another active Cosmic Cube. At one point, dissension with M.O.D.O.K.'s rule grew within his own A.I.M. organization which resulted in a rebellion against him. Thus, forcing M.O.D.O.K. out of the organization. After this, the three factions of A.I.M. have again combined as one organization

In it's history, A.I.M. has been involved with many superheroes/villains lives. Some of the more notable interactions are when A.I.M. sent a chemical android to dispose of both Captain America and Nick Fury. They were the organization that captured Iron Man and tried and reproduce his famous armor. A.I.M. was responsible for infecting Betty Ross with gamma radiation and turning her into the "Harpy." In fact, for a short time, a power shift in A.I.M. resulted in the faction splitting into two groups: the "Blue" faction and the "Yellow" Faction. These two factions did battle, even dragging Deathbird into the fray. The Yellow faction captured Thing and Namor for study, while the Blue faction tried to re-create the Cosmic Cube. But currently neither faction stayed active and A.I.M. has become one unit again. At one point, A.I.M.hired the AnacondaCottonmouth and Death Adder of the Serpent Society to kill M.O.D.O.K., which they were successful. In addition, A.I.M. helped in creating the Red Hulk. (To learn about all the above highlighted characters, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the very revealing outfit worn by Betty Ross, Deathbird, and the Serpent Society's bio pages.)

More recently, after the S.H.I.E.L.D. Secret Avengers recruited Taskmaster after freeing him from Bagalia, they send him to infiltrate the new High Council of A.I.M. which consists of Andrew Forson, Graviton, Jude the Entropic Man, Mentallo, Superia, and Black Widow (Yelena Belova). After this, Forson led A.I.M. into attending a weapons expo which resulted in A.I.M. fighting against the Secret Avengers. (Click on the highlighted names above to learna about the team and/or characters.
