At one point, Kang the Conquereor traveled to past to the 20th Century and planted new technology there. Some of his technology ended up being discovered and developed by Cybertek (a cybernetics research firm created by its parent corporation Roxxon Oil as a research facility). Cybertek used this technology in many of their projects. (To learn about the character and/or company highlighted above, just click on their names.)

Later on, Roxxon Oil stole the Earth-7484 Deathlok cyborg from S.H.I.E.L.D. and turned it over to Harlan Ryker for further study. Ryker studied Deathlok at Roxxon’s Brand Corporation subdivision, who designed a robotic Deathlok which was destroyed by the Thing and Quasar while invading Project: PEGASUS. Ryker was ordered to disassemble Deathlok and recreate it.(To learn about the dimension, characters, and/or project, just click on their highlighted names above.)

Later, when the Brand Corporation was closed, Ryker was placed in charge of Cybertek and their cyborg research was moved there. The original Deathlok was r
e-programmed as an agent of the Nth Command--whose purpose was to gain a world energy monopoly by eradicating any effective private or governmental competition." (To learn about Nth Command, click on the highlighted name above.)

Cybertek also developed the Warwolf--a cyborg using a wolf's brain.

Trying to create a super-solider program, Cybertek tried to recruit Deathlok (Luther Manning) for Cybertek's cyborg super-soldier program, but was unsuccessful. However, Ryker was able to recruit police officer John Kelly. Kelly voluntarily had his brain implanted in the Deathlok cyborg, and participated in a number of test runs. (To learn about Siege, click on the highlighted name above.)

One day, Cybertek computer programmer Michael Collins discovered that his work was actually going to be used for a killing machine project codenamed "Deathlok." After learning this, Michael went to his boss and friend, Harlan Ryker, and shared this information with him. Being the one behind the program, Ryker actually betrayed Collins and shot him with a sedative. He then transplanted Collins' brain into the Deathlok cyborg. Later on, while on a Roxxon mission to the South American nation of Estrella, Collins' mind awoke and gained some control of Deathlok, who was quickly recalled to Cybertek. Once at Cybertek, Collins achieved full control and escaped. Ryker then sent Ian Wajler after Deathlok; however, Deathlok defeated him. Soon after, Deathlok returned to New Jersey and assaulted Cybertek, confronting Ryker. (To learn about Deathlok and/or Mainframe, just click on their names.)

Later on, under investigation from S.H.I.E.L.D., Harlan Ryker betrayed Cybertek and fled, attempting to sell Cybertek's property. However, to limit their own culpability, Roxxon Oil ordered Cybertek to be shut-down. Soon, Warwolf invaded Cybertek and destroyed all the records that could incriminate Ryker. Warwolf also killed and attacked others until Deathlok arrived killed it.

Afterward, Cybertek's technology and contracts were sold to various ccorporations, including Magnum Munitions and A.I.M. (To learn about A.I.M., just click on the highlighted name above.)

There is nothing there, but here is the Marvel.com bio link for Cybertek, http://marvel.com/universe/Cybertek.

Cybertek appears in the TV show Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Cybertek is a technology company with ties to HYDRA that developed Project Deathlok. (This is shown in the last picture posted above)

Other Info
The Nova Corps was originally Xandar's space militia and exploration division. It consisted of 500 soldiers ranging in rank from Corpsman to Centurion, with its leader Nova Prime (Tanak Valt). They also had a regiment of Syfon Warriors. The Nova Corps have two priorities: defend the Xandarian civilization and protect the Xandarian living supercomputer known as the Worldmind. Though a small militia, each soldier was powered by the "Nova-Force" (a nearly limitless energy field generated by the Worldmind). The energy is then transmitted into the Nova Corps at varying levels depending on their rank. Thus, the Nova Corps became exceptionally powerful. In addition, the Worldmind contains the entire record of Xandarian history and civilization. (To learn about the place, characters, and/or team above, just click on their highlighted name.)

The Nova Corps ranks from highest rank to the lowest rank are as follows: Nova Prime--Nova Centurion designated as "Prime" is the highest-ranking member of the Nova Corps. The Prime is endowed with a vast portion of the Nova-Force, and capable of great feats of energy manipulation and projection. Centurion--Top tier of the Nova Corps. They can lift approximately 20 tons. Denarian--Middle tier of the Nova Corps. They have access to 75% of the Nova-Force compared to the Centurions. They can lift approximately 15 tons. Millennian--They have 50% of the Nova-Force compared to the Centurions. They cannot fly, but they can pilot one-man sky flyers. Millennians can lift approximately 10 tons, have limited invulnerability. Corpsman--Entry level of the Nova Corps. Graduates from the Space Academy must apply to the Nova Corps upon graduation. They have access to 25% of the Nova-Force compared to the Centurions. They can lift approximately 5 tons. (The first picture posted above shows four ranks of the Nova Corps in their individual uniforms starting from the left: Corpsman, Millennian, Denarian, and Centurion.)

At one point, the Luphomians attacked Xandar. Even though the Nova Corps was empowered by the Nove-Force, it wasn't enough to save their world from destruction. (To lean about the Luphomians, click on the highlighted name above.)

Fortunately, all was not lost for the Nova Corps. Some domed cities survived the planet's destruction, and the Xandarians populated an asteroid field that then became known as the Xandar Cluster. After reforming under Queen Adora (who was guided by the Worldmind), the Nova Corps evolved into an intergalactic peace-keeping force, guarding the entire Andromeda Galaxy and Earth. In addition, they began recruiting beings from other worlds into their ranks. (To learn about the above highlighted places and/or character, just click on their names. Also, some of these Nova Corps members from other worlds are shown in the second and third pictures posted above.)

Later, the Nova Corps were assembled to face off against Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave. The Corps fought valiantly to defend their world; however, the entire Nova Corps was destroyed and Xandar was laid to waste. Fortunately, one member of the Corps did survive--the Centurion known as Richard Rider. The Worldmind, which had also survived, guided Rider to itself. In order to save the Nova Corps, the Worldmind convinced Rider to let it uploaded itself to him to keep the Nova-Force and their people's history from being lost. Upon uploading, the entirety of the Nova-Force was given to Rider and he became the Nova Prime (aka Nova). Afterward, Nova led the United Front against the Annihilation Wave. And in the end, Nova killed Annihilus and ended the war. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or teams.)

Later on, during the Skrulls' Secret Invasion, the Worldmind had been quietly and methodically recruiting new Nova Centurions (Malik Tarcel, Qubit, Fraktur, Irani Rael and Morrow). Using Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. as a base of operations, Nova led the new Nova Corps in peace-keeping operations to stop the chaos left over from the Skrulls' attack. Nova was uncertain at first about reforming the Nova Corps so soon, but they worked together so well that his mind quickly changed. (To learn about the race, event, characters, and/or place above, just click on their highlighted name. Also, the last picture posted above shows the new version of the Nova Corps.)

Soon after, however, things escalated out of Nova's control. Without consulting him, Worldmind began to mass recruit the people of Earth, resulting in the Nova Corps growing from a half dozen to hundreds within minutes. Among these new recruits was Nova's own younger brother, Robbie Rider. However, the most disturbing of all was when the Worldmind had his new recruits lobotomize Ego (the Living Planet) to established a new base for the Nova Corps--calling it "Nu-Xandar." Nova thought that Worldwind was out of control, but he found himself alone in this belief. In fact, when the Worldmind asked that he download the Nova-Force into Nu-Xandar, Nova hesitated. Claiming that the Nova-Force had taken its toll on Rider's sanity, the Worldmind ordered the Nova Corps to restrain Nova. The Worldmind then forcefully removed the Nova-Force from Rider; thus, stripping Rider of his powers and rank as Nova Prime, and banished him to Earth. Afterward, Malik Tarcel was promoted to the rank of Nova Prime in place of Rider. Soon after, however, Rider learned that the Worldmind was employing mind control to manipulate the Nova Corps. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the different characters.)

Later, when the War of Kings ignited between the Kree-led Inhumans and the Shi'ar, the Worldmind chose to immediately leave Earth to have the new and inexperienced Nova Corps members intervene in the galactic conflict. Unfortunately, the Corps had massive casualties and the new Nova Prime, Malik Tarcel, was captured by the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. However, it was Richard Rider who returned with the power of Quasar; thus, forcing the Worldmind to stand down. Rider retook his position as Nova Prime and called on the Nova Corps to retreat while they still could, saving whoever he could. Afterward, Nova had all of the newly recruited Centurions depowered and sent home. But, not all of the Centurions wanted to return home. Therefore, Robbie Rider, Morrow, Fraktur, Qubit, Irani Rael, Lindy Nolan, and Tre Owens elected to remain as Nova Centurions, serving as a much smaller Nova Corps. (To learn about the event, races, team, and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

At the end of the war, the Inhuman King of the Kree, Blackbolt, detonated the Terrigen-Bomb which punched a hole in space/time known as The Fault--a doorway to a universe analogous to our own where there is no death (aka the Cancerverse). The spatial distortions around the Fault allowed the Nova Corps to discover a long lost Nova Corps starship, the Resolute Duty, along with its veteran Centurion, Zan Philo. The Resolute Duty became the new mobile headquarters of the Nova Corps and Zan Philo became the trainer of its probationary members.  (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or places.)

More recently, when an invasion force from Cancerverse attacked, the Nova Corps was on hand to join the defense along with the Shi'ar, the Kree, and Blastaar's Negative Zone forces. It quickly became obvious that pushing the Cancerverse forces back through the Fault was going to be nearly impossible. Their only hope lied in a mission into the Cancerverse by the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thanos to kill the invaders at their home by reintroducing Death to that universe. The Nova Corps had to help hold the line until that happened. Nova ended up deputizing Quasar into the Nova Corps and ventured into the Cancerverse himself. The mission was a success, and the invasion fell apart with The Fault closing. However, Nova and Star-Lord stayed behind in the Cancerverse to ensure that Thanos would not return. Nova was presumed dead, and with him went the Worldmind and the Nova-Force; thus, leaving the Nova Corps no more once again. However, the survivors hailed Star-Lord and Nova as heroes and a statue was erected in their honor on Kree-Lar. (To learn about the above highlighted characters, places, and/or team, click on their names above.)

In Guardians of the Galaxy film, the Nova Corps were led by Nova Prime Irani Rael and Rhomann Dey. (Also, the second picture posted above shows Rhomann Dey and some Nova Corps members.)

Other Info
In the 31st Century, in an alternate future (Earth-691), a group of diverse superhumans and extraterrestrial adventurers formed a team known as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" to fight the Badoon race--who had conquered the multiple solar systems. The founding members of the team were Vance Astro (Major Victory), Charlie-27Yondu, and Martinex. The Guardians became dedicated to guarding of the Milky Way Galaxy from any force that threatened the safety of its various people. At times, these future Guardians of the Galaxy have encountered, and even teamed up with, citizens of our current reality (Earth-616) including, Captain America, Spider-Man, Thing, Thor, the Defenders, and the Avengers. (To learn about the timelines, race, characters, and/or teams above, just click on their highlighted names. Also, these future Guardians of the Galaxy can be seen in the first picture posted above.)

In the modern day Earth-616 timeline, after the Annihilation Wave and the Phalanx invasion of Ultron, Star-Lord saw a need for a proactive strike team to protect the universe form violent attacks. Therefore, he asked Mantis to telepathically influence Adam WarlockPhyla-VellRocket RaccoonDrax, and Gamora to join his team. On the recommendation of their ally, Nova, the team established a base on the space station known as Knowhere--the base possessed a teleportation system with near-universal range. An intelligent, telepathic dog named Cosmo was Knowhere's Chief of Security and assisted the team in plotting courses for the trouble-spots in the universe. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the team, race, characters, and/or place. Note: Beware of the VERY revealing outfits on Gamora and Ultron's bio pages--block images if possible--and a revealing outfit worn by one in the background of Mantis' bio page.)

During the team's first outing, to close a fissure within the fabric of reality, they ended up destroying a Templeship belonging to the Universal Church of Truth. Then, while attempting to prevent another fissure disturbance, the team discovered a massive rock, metal, and organic matter, frozen solid. Before the heroes could piece together the puzzle of what they had discovered, they were attack by unknown aliens that had begun thawing from the frozen ice. During the battle, an amnesia-ridden Major Victory thawed from one of the ice blocks. Adam Warlock incinerated the mass as his teammates retreated back to Knowhere with the disoriented Major Victory. Afterward, Major Victory tells the heroes that he is part of an team called the Guardians of the Galaxy from the future. As they had yet to give themselves a name, the team adopted the "Guardians of the Galaxy" name for their own. (To learn about the Avengers Mansion, click on its highlighted name above.)

Later on, when the team learned that Star-Lord had Mantis telepathically coerce them into joining the team, they disbanded--each member splitting off onto their own missions. Adam Warlock and Gamora went to find out more about the Universal Church of Truth; Drax and Phyla-Vell went looking for Drax's missing friend Cammi; Star-Lord left to respond to a request for help from the Kree; and Rocket decided to continue the team's original mission. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the character and/or race. Note: Beware of the revealing outfit worn by one on Cammi's bio page.)

Eventually, Rocket Raccoon took it in his own hands to reform the Guardians of the Galaxy and lead them himself. He began recruiting others to join him. Eventually, the team consisted of all of its original members, with additions such as Groot, Major Victory, Bug, Jack Flag, and Moondragon. And when Star-Lord rejoined the team, he became leader once again. This  new team prepared for the coming war between the Shi'ar, and their new Emperor Vulcan, and the Inhumans/Kree led by Blackbolt. At the end of the war, however, the Inhuman King of the Kree, Blackbolt, detonated the Terrigen-Bomb which punched a hole in space/time known as The Fault--a doorway to a universe analogous to our own where there is no death (aka the Cancerverse). The first creature to come through was a giant squid that instinctively attacked the Inhuman city of Attilan. The Guardians of the Galaxy engaged in a long battle against him which ultimately resulted in the he resurrection of Thanos, and the death of some of the Guardians, including Star-Lord and Nova who sacrificed their lives to keep Thanos in the Cancerverse. The survivors hailed Peter and Nova as heroes and a statue was erected in their honor on Kree-Lar. (To learn about the above highlighted event, races, characters, and/or places, just click on their their names. Also, the third picture posted above is of the team when Rocket Raccoon led the team.)

It was later revealed that Star-Lord had actually managed to escape from the Cancerverse. He soon returned to a recreated Guardians of the Galaxy team. The team had learned that Thanos had managed to get a Cosmic Cube from the United States Army and used it to escape to Moord--the homeland of the Badoon. Therefore, they went to the Avengers Tower and informed the Avengers about the situation. So, the two teams joined forces to battle against Thanos and the Badoon. However, after Thanos had apparently killed the Elders of the Universe, he became one with the Cosmic Cube and killed the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy as well. But, in reality, they all had just been sent to the Cancerverse along with the Elders of the Universe. Once there, Iron Man (Tony Stark) found that Thanos' weapon wasn't actually a Cosmic Cube--it had defects. Therefore, they bargained with the Collector, in exchange of a weapon capable of deactivating the "Cube" and returned to Earth. Back on Earth, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, along with the Elders of the Universe, defeated Thanos. The Elders then took Thanos to punish him for his actions. Afterwards, Star-Lord personally offered Iron Man a spot on the team, which he gladly accepted for a short time. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the item, places, teams, and/or characters. Also, Iron Man as part of the team is shown in the fourth picture posted.)

Later on, King Jason of the Spartoi Empire alerted his son, Star-Lord, that a Galactic Council had decided that Earth was too dangerous and should be left alone. Knowing that such a decree would draw Earth's enemies to the planet, the Guardians of the Galaxy rushed to Earth to protect it. And as expected, the team discovered a Badoon ship heading to attack Earth; however, they were able to defeat them. As they continued to guard Earth, the Guardians intercepted Angela heading towards Earth. Believing her to be a threat, the Guardians fought her as well. However, when they discovered that she was actually one of the numerous beings who were pulled from realm of Heaven to this dimension after the space-time continuum was broken, they let her go. (To learn about character and/or people, just click on the highlighted names above.)

More recently, two of Earth's heroes, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Agent Venom (Flash Thompson) have joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. (To learn about the characters above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the very skin-tight outfit worn by Captain Marvel on her bio page. Also, Captain Marvel and Agent Venom are shown as part of the team in the fifth picture posted above.)

Justin Hammer was the founder of Hammer Industries--an international design and manufacturing firm. After Stark International moved out of weapons production, Hammer Industries became one of the leading weapons suppliers in the world. (To learn about Justin Hammer, just click on this name above.)

On occasion, Justin Hammer would hire criminals to make attacks on Tony Stark (Iron Man). Hammer would outfit the villains with equipment and weapons developed by Hammer Industries. These villains agreed to pay Hammer half of their profits in exchange for upgrades to their equipment and weapons. In addition, their bail would be paid in the event of an arrest. Some of the most notable villains hired by Hammer Industries are
Blizzard, Whiplash, Rhino, and MACH-IV. (To learn more about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

Years after Justin Hammer died, his daughter, Justine Hammer (aka Crimson Cowl), re-established Hammer Industries. She turned the company into a newer multi-million dollar weapons supplier known along with her daughter, Sasha. (To learn about the Crimson Cowl, click on the highlighted name above. Note: Beware of the form-fitting outfit worn by Hammer on her bio page. Also, Justine and Sasha are shown in the fifth picture posted.)

Soon after, the mother-daughter combo teamed up with corrupt generals, soldiers, and technology-powered super-terrorists like Spymaster and Ezekiel Stane--whom Sasha was dating at the time. (To learn about the above villains, just click on their highlighted names.)

Later, it was revealed that Sasha's father was the Mandarin--Iron Man's old nemesis. Therefore, as a family, the Hammers, Stanes, and the Mandarin did what they could to ruin and discredit Tony Stark as he established his new company, Stark Resilient. (Click on the highlighted name above, to learn about the Mandarin.)

More recently, Justine manipulated General Bruce Babbage into committing suicide, which allowed her to get to his place in the Pentagon. Meanwhile, the Mandarin kidnapped Tony Stark and Ezekiel Stane. He forced Stane to build gigantic killing machines known as Titanomechs. However, Stark and Stane ended up joining forces and escaped captivity. Afterward, Ezekiel and Sasha killed Justine in revenge for what the Mandarin had done to Ezekiel.

There is nothing there, but here is the link to Hammer Industries' bio on Marvel.com, http://marvel.com/universe/Hammer_Instustries.

In the movie, Iron Man 2, Hammer Industires competed with Stark Industries for the trust of the U.S. government. When Tony Stark became publicly known as Iron Man, the scientists of Hammer Industries attempted to replicate the Iron Man armor but failed in all areas. Eventually, Hammer wanted Ivan Vanko (aka Whiplash) to improve his armored suits so that he could upstage Stark at the upcoming Stark Expo.

At one point, Surtur used the Cask of Ancient Winters to cross over from Musphelheim with his demon hordes. The Einherjar were came forward and fought alongside the U.S. Military and the Avengers to drive the demons back. The Einherjar were so impressed by the modern weapons used in battle by the military that they took some machine guns back with them. Therefore, the Einherjar can been seen using various Asgardian and modern weapons in battle. In addition, they ride Asgardian chariots and Pegasuses. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the character, object, and/or team.)

Later on, Hela began taking mortal souls to Hel. When this happened, Thor called upon the Einherjar to help him stop her. During the process, Hela attempted to persuade the Executioner to join her warriors onboard of Nagelfar--the ship of the dead. However, he saw through her tricks and used his axe to cleave a dimensional rift, destroying both the ship and the axe in the process. After they all had retrieved the human souls, they were pursued by a huge army of the dead. Thor, volunteered to buy time for the everyone else to escape; however, the Executioner knocked him out from behind, and volunteered to hold the bridge of Gjallerbru in his stead. He stood alone, and fought off Hela's army as the Einherjar and Balder took Thor and escaped with the rescued souls. For this heroic last stand, the Executioner earned a place among the honorable dead of the Einherjar residing in Valhalla. (To learn about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names. Other Info
Powerful, expansive, and influential, the Roxxon Oil Company is a corporation like no other. In the past, Roxxon Oil was an unparalleled leader in the energy industry, both because of its clout but also its sterling reputation. Roxxon even diversified into high-tech research and development, aiding in the development of the S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence agency. Unfortunately, in recent years the company has backed many suspect endeavors in its drive for political and economic power. Despite being implicated in these shady practices, Roxxon Oil executives and employees have skirted outright arrest and conviction. (To learn about S.H.I.E.L.D., click on the highlighted name above.)

Roxxon's current reputation and business practices largely began with Hugh Jones, its President, a corrupt and cutthroat businessman. The board under his direction was responsible for the death of Tony Stark's parents and the aquisition of the Brand Corporation. (The Brand Corp. became Roxxon's front for mutagenics and robotics research, spawning such villains as Orka, Manticore, Nemesis, Killer Shrike, Bushmaster, and Delphine Courtney.) Their development of battle suits researched the Cat's costume (leading to Hellcat's adoption of the costume) and created the Grasshopper. Hugh Jones was best known for falling victim to the Serpent Crown, which nearly allowed him to seize control of the U.S. capital, until the Avengers brought him down. (To learn about the above highlighted characters and/or teams, just click on their names.)

Most recently, Aleksander Lukin, president of the Kronos Corporation, used the Cosmic Cube to force Roxxon executives to sign over control of large portions of the company to him, including many of its power generating facilities; however, Roxxon still exists in its entirety as a corporate subsidiary. (To learn about the character and/or item above, just click on their highlighted names.)

To learn a little bit more about Roxxon, click on the following link, https://marvel.com/universe/Roxxon_Oil.

The Roxxon logo appears many times in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Iron Man (background building during the last fight scene), Iron Man 2 (one of the cars at the Monaco Grand Prix is sponsored by Roxxon), a Marvel One-Short short film A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer (takes place at a Roxxon Gas Station in Nevada), Iron Man 3 (final battle takes place on an impounded Roxxon tanker that was responsible for an oil spill), and in the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode Repairs (a Roxxon gas station was blown up). (Three of the appearances of Roxxon is shown in the second picture posted above in the following order from the top to bottom: Iron Man, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
