Imagine if thirteen Marvel characters were to be in a huge battle where there could only be ONE victor! Putting the "good" and "evil" notion to the side...it's EVERYONE vs. EVERYONE--No alliances! Only ONE can be left standing!

The thirteen characters that are involved in the Battle Royal 13 are the last thirteen characters that have been highlighted on the Marvel Madness blog:
Crimson Dynamo, Brian Banner, Doctor Erskine, General Phillips, Detective Soap, Agent Sitwell, Destroyer, Peggy Carter, Arnim Zola, Heinz Kruger, Banshee, Gabe Jones, and Hawkeye. (If you have forgotten some of these characters' powers/abilities, go ahead and check out their bios right here on the Marvel Madness blog by clicking on the highlighted names above.)
Well, first off, it would be race from the get go to see who could animate the Destroyer armor. However, due to the chaos, I doubt anyone could actually take control of the construct. (I'll discuss the Destroyer towards the end.)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, the average humans are out first! However, among the "non-super power characters," I think Hawkeye would probably be the victor. He doesn't necessarily have "super powers," but if he had his bow, he could probably do some serious damage to the characters with powers. But, since there really isn't any weapons involved, Hawkeye would eventually be taken over.
Now, if he was in his hybrid-Hulk-creature-form, Brian Banner could do some SERIOUS damgage; however, he is only as strong as others fear him. Eventually, others would not fear him and he would be easily defeated. Crimson Dynamo could short-circuit Arnim Zola's android bod--taking him out. But, Crimson Dynamo could be taken out by Banshee.
Thus, the final battle would be Banshee vs. Destroyer. Now, if we consider the Destroyer as its own character, then I think the Destroyer would be able to finish off Banshee. (Personally, I think no one except someone like Thor or Hulk could take down the Destroyer.) However, if we don't consider the Destroyer its own character, than Banshee wins. I'm going to go with the fact that the Destroyer must be controlled by someone; therefore, in my books, Banshee would come out on top.

I agree with Cory about the Destroyer. It would have to be controlled but it seems only the life force enters it and leaves the body behind. so it would be a disadvantage to use the Destroyer because they could possibly kill your body if you took control of it.
ReplyDeleteMy vote went to Crimson Dynamo. Iron man realized that brute force couldn't stop him (in the armor) so he made friends with him instead of fighting. Banshee will likely be the last one to stand against Dynamo, but I would bet many of his powers would be reduced or nullified by the suit of armor. (The defensive aspects of the armor aren't spelled out but armor is armor)
OK, so Destoryer only works if someone aligns/ controls him. Since that's against the rules, he's out.
ReplyDeleteAll of the humans without powers are out. I'm going to say Crimson Dynamo won't last to the end... largely due to the fact that I always mispronounce "Dynamo" in my head and out loud, and it bothers me.
I'm going to have to go with Banshee as the winner. If you look at Hawkeye's powers, it first says "none." And Banshee could knock him and everyone else out or put them to sleep right away.
