We've had Battle Royal 13, 14, 15, and 16! Thus, another 50 Marvel characters have been highlighted! This means only one thing...BATTLE ULTIMATE 4 SHALL BEGIN!
Normally, we would take the top 8 winners of the past four Battle Royals (top 2 for each Battle Royal) and put them
head-to-head in a giant Battle Ultimate! However, because there was a four-way tie and a three-way tie for 2nd place on two different Battle Royals, we will only be having the top 6 characters go head-to-head.
Put the "good" and "evil" notion
to the side. It's EVERYONE vs. EVERYONE. No alliances! Just pure
power and abilities versus others' powers and abilities! Only ONE
can be left standing! Please choose who you think would win among
the people's chosen 8 strongest Marvel characters.
Also, if you have time,
please leave the reason why you think the character you chose would
win in the "Comment" section below. This way, we can all see your
reasoning in choosing your winner. Who will be the victor? Only you can decide!

Well in my opinion, Agent Garrett and Hawkeye wouldn't last too long in this battle. Banshee's sonic blasts would cause deafening sounds and Magma's seismic upheavals would take them out those two. Cerebro is good, but I don't think he would last against Thanos and/or Magma. Thanos' skin is immune to heat so I don't think Magma could do much against him. Thus, she would be gone too.
ReplyDeleteThis would leave Thanos and Banshee as my final two. Thanos is incredibly stronger and bigger than Banshee. And he can shoot psionic blast of energy. However, Banshee could fly around and dodge those blasts. But, most of all, Banshee could scream at the top of his lungs and probably knock out Thanos, or hypnotize him. I don't quite know how he could finish off Thanos, but he could knock Thanos out over and over with his screams until he found a way.
So, even though originally my vote was for Thanos, I think Banshee could take him. Thanos has lots of immunities, but protection from sound seems to not be one of them.

ReplyDeleteHawkeye is cool in the movie and all, but I'm sure Magma would melt him fast. Out. Also, Banshee would also be melted.
Magma could call the power of the molten earth and destroy everyone... except Thanos, because his skin is invulnerable to heat.
Plus, Thanos is way stronger than everyone else... combined. Plus, he's immortal and, according to this blog, "unable to die." I don't think Banshee will figure out a way to kill him, since he can't die. Then, once Banshee loses his voice from too much use over and over in a short period of time without being able to rest, Thanos will crush him. Like a cookie.
I would like to see a amazing battle play out because we have some powerful and skilled combatants. But it will just boil down to Thanos, who is near immune to damage, plus the whole cursed by death thing. I just don't see a way to actually take him down. I think it would be a long drawn out battle between Thanos, Magma and Banshee but Thanos would figure out how to win before the others found a weakness on him.
ReplyDeleteI thought of something after I made my vote and post. Can Thanos survive without breathing? Or do toxic gases hurt him?
ReplyDeleteIf so I think Magma may actually have a chance but if he is just immortal then he is still the winner.
Steve: From what I can tell from reading about Thanos is that he CAN survive without breathing. And he is immune to toxins, so I would assume he wouldn't be poisoned at all by the gases either. He is one tough cookie!
