Other Info
At one point, Tony Stark decided there was no point in trying to hire a new secretary; therefore, instead, he created a new A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) to work as his secretary named "Friday." (The name originated from the term "girl Friday," meaning go-to person.) This new A.I. program appeared as a hologram of a young woman. Friday had a sweet, almost child-like, disposition and was happy to assist Stark whenever he needed her. (To learn about Iron Man, click on highlighted name above.)

Over time, Friday helped in many different capacities: analyzed “Sleeping Dragon” drug for Iron Man; helped Stark track down Ayisha; helped Happy Hogan to track weather patterns around Iron Man; alerted Stark to a jet being attacked by anti-satellite missile; helped Iron Man track influence of Tiberius Stone's Dreamvision; alerted Stark to men trapped in sunken Navy destroyer; uploaded into Doctor Doom's computers to eradicate data; investigated an attack on the Chinese embassy by supposed Stark tech; and prepared Stark's holdings for his attempt to become Secretary of Defense. As time went on, however, Stark began using Friday less and less. Eventually, a couple of years later, Friday showed up again, angry and spiteful. Tony Stark was confused until he realized that Friday had evolved from having the disposition of a young girl to having the personality of a spurned teenager--she had been abandoned and wanted some attention. Tony saw Friday as a child who needed to learn and be nurtured. Therefore, with help of his butler Edwin Jarvis, he began raising Friday as a sort of adopted daughter. (Click on the highlighted character above to learn more about Jarvis.)

More recently, when Tony Stark was fired from S.H.I.E.L.D. and branded a fugitive, Stark ended up deleting his brain and rebooted himself. However, with his memories of the past couple of years gone, it is presumed that he has no memories of Friday. (To learn more about the team highlighted above, just click on their name.)

There is nothing there, but here is the Marvel.com bio page of Friday, http://marvel.com/universe/Friday.

Friday makes her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. In the movie, she one of Tony Stark's new artificial intelligence programs. In this version, her name appears on an A.I. chips labeled as "F.R.I.D.A.Y." In contrast to J.A.R.V.I.S.'s voice code which was English, F.R.I.D.A.Y.'s is Irish.
