Other Info
Very little is known about the Linda Carter's past before she became known as the "Night Nurse." However, it is known that at one point while she was still a medical student, she was rescued by a costumed super-hero. It was this experience that she decided to pay back the super-human community by taking care of their health.

The first know super-hero that Carter took care of was Daredevil (Matt Murdock) after he was defeated and seriously injured by the Japanese Yakuza. Soon after, Foggy Nelson sent Ben Urich to the Night Nurse to find Matt. Carter initially denied that he was there until Daredevil called the front desk and told her that it was okay to send Urich back. She then sent Urich to "the room on the right" (which would become her famous catch phrase)-- the room where she treated super-heroes unnoticed. Later on, during Nick Fury's "Secret War" on Latveria, Night Nurse took care of a badly injured Luke Cage (whose nearly-impenetrable skin required special treatment). (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or place.)

Later, when he was shot by Paladin, Daredevil asked Elektra to take him to Carter. Soon after, even the Black Widow visited the Night Nurse with Milla Donovan. However, despite Daredevil's trust in Carter, Elektra was not impressed by the way the Night Nurse took care of her patients, and ordered her Hand agents to treat Daredevil themselves instead. At one point, Carter cared for Doctor Strange's bullet wound. After caring for him, Night Nurse ended up teaming with Strange in an effort to help him recover a cure for cancer, which Doctor Strange wanted to use to cure Wong. At one point during their time together, Night Nurse was taken captive by Brigand--the man who shot Doctor Strange; however, Carter was able to free herself with a headbutt. After Strange defeated Brigand, all three (Carter, Strange, and Wong) returned to confront Nicodemus West--who they found out was behind it all. During this time, Doctor Strange learned that the elixir he was retrieving was the legendary Panacea--a cure for every disease. However, before Strange could obtain the elixir, Wong died in Night Nurse's arms. Fortunately, Night Nurse was able to get Wong's heart beating again enough for Strange to retrieve one drop of the elixir from West, which he used to save Wong. Night Nurse and Doctor Strange were present when Wong woke up in Strange's residence (aka the Sanctum Sanctorum). It was later revealed that Night Nurse had stolen an internal memo at West's lab that would incriminate all the higher-ups of Timely Pharmaceuticals which she sent to the S.E.C., F.D.A., and Matt Murdock. After all this, Doctor Strange offered Night Nurse to continue her practice at the Sanctum Sanctorum which she accepted. Over time, however, Carter and Strange began a romantic relationship together. (Click on the highlighted characters above to learn more about them.)

Later on, during the super hero Civil War, the Night Nurse agreed with Captain America's Anti-Registration who thought it was wrong for all super heroes to reveal their identities. Night Nurse then joined his resistance group: Secret Avengers. Carter operated from S.H.I.E.L.D. safe-house number 23 and worked on many super heroes over the Civil War time including Captain America, Spider-Man, and Iron Fist. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the event, characters, and/or teams.)

Recently, after Elektra's return to Earth after being abducted during the Skrulls' Secret Invasion, Night Nurse was contacted by Foggy Nelson who brought a severely wounded Elektra to her for help. Though she was initially cautious when dealing with someone as fearsome and infamous as Elektra, the two women quickly formed a rapport. In fact, when a former S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent burst into their room and began shooting at Elektra, it was her that protected Carter from the gunfire by forcing her to the ground. As Elektra confronted her attackers, Night Nurse reminded her that she was still badly injured, and offered to call someone to help her. However, Elektra told her that there was no one to call. Despite what Elektra stated, Linda Carter ended up calling Wolverine to request his aid in helping Elektra. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the race, event, and/or character.)

More recently, it was Night Nurse who the New Avengers brought an injured Luke Cage to after he fell unconscious after a cardiac attack. (To learn about the New Avengers, click on the highlighted name above. Also, Carter's look during her time with the New Avengers is shown in the last two pictures posted above.)

There isn't anything there, but here is the Marvel.com bio page for the Night Nurse, http://marvel.com/universe/Night_Nurse_(Linda_Carter).

The character of "Claire Temple" on the Netflix TV series Marvel's Daredevil is said to be a combination of two characters from the Marvel comics: Night Nurse (Linda Carter) and Claire Temple.
