Other Info
Maria Callasantos grew up in New York City with her three siblings, Lucia, Matteo, and Carolina and their mother and father. Their father beat their mother and abandoned the family after the birth of Carolina, the youngest of the children. One of Maria's only joys was keeping the pigeons on their rooftops as pets. (To learn about Thornn, click on the highlighted name above.)

Maria blamed her two younger siblings for their father deserting them. So, when Carolina fell down a staircase to her death while Maria was babysitting her, it was always questioned whether Maria had actually pushed Carolina to her death. In addition, Matteo was chasing Maria's pet pigeons on the tenement roof when he allegedly tripped over the ledge to his death as well.

Later on, when Maria's mother had an alcoholic and cocaine-addict boyfriend, her mother too became addict as well. Lucia's mutations began to emerge, much more slowly than Maria's, and caused her to start growing fur. When Lucia was seventeen, Bellinger tried to rape her, but Maria (who was fifteen and whose mutations had emerged much more quickly) stopped Bellinger and killed him. Knowing that Maria had murdered Bellinger, Maria's mother killed Maria's pet pigeons in revenge. Caught up in her anger, Maria killed her mother in retaliation. Now alone, Lucia and Maria had no place to live, but the streets. However, soon the two mutants were able to find refuge with the sewer-dwelling group, the Morlocks. (To learn about the race and/or team above, just click on their highlighted names. Note: Beware of the very revealing outfit worn by Emma Frost on the Mutants' bio page.)

As a part of the Morlocks, Maria called herself "Feral" and Lucia called herself "Thornn." At on point, Feral refused to join Masque's army of Morlocks, and she fled to the X-Mansion. She agreed to join the New Mutants in return for their help in taking down Masque--the team soon after became X-Force. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the character, place, and/or teams.)

Feral was with the X-Force for a long time, joining them on all their early adventures, including one that brought her into conflict with her sister, Thornn, when Masque's Morlocks teamed up with the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. However, Feral's naturally ferocious nature brought her into conflict with her teammates on many occasions, most notable they time she almost killed Cannonball during a training exercise. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the team and/or character.)

Later on, X-Force came into conflict with the Mutant Liberation Front (a terrorist organization fighting for mutant rights, who had kidnapped the anti-mutant activist Henry Peter Gyrich). The team's leader, Reignfire, convinced Feral to switch allegiances, and caused her so much anger to attack Gyrich; however, she was stopped by the X-Force's leader, Cable. (To learn about the highlighted team and/or characters above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the form-fitting outfits on the Mutant Liberation Front's bio page.)

Feral was later seen when her sister, Thornn, was captured by the New York City police. Cannonball was present when Feral confronted Thornn. Thornn revealed that she had seen Feral kill Harry Bellinger, and Cannonball provoked Feral into admitting that she had murdered her mother. Although Feral tried to fight her way out, she was eventually defeated and arrested.

During her time in prison, Feral discovered that she had contracted the mutant-killing Legacy Virus. She was eventually broken out of prison, whereupon she joined other Legacy Virus victims who were focused on finding a cure. After failed attempts to find a cure, Feral began to feel the effects of the virus more than ever. Soon the virus began to affect her mentally. Distraught from her illness, she accepted  she would accept King Bedlam's offer and joined his team of New Hellions. Feral's participation in the group would put her at odds once again with X-Force. During one confrontation, Feral seriously wounded X-Force member Siryn by slashing her vocal cords. (To learn more about the virus, team, and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

After some time, after all of her experiences, Feral decided to make a change. This change led her back to the good side. She contacted Charles Xavier and, with his acceptance, joined the X-Corporation, in their Mumbai Branch. In this position, she was joined by her sister, Thornn, former X-Force team-mate, Warpath, and one time X-Men, long time ally Sunfire. (To learn about the characters and/or team above, just click on their highlighted names.)

When the events of M-Day occured, Feral was stripped of her mutant powers and look. However, both Maria and Lucia's feline appearances slowly returned, but their powers remained suppressed. It was soon after this, that Feral accompanied Sasquatch, Wolfsbane, Thornn, and Wolverine to the Weapon X compound to search for Wild Child. While on this trip, Feral was confronted by Sabretooth; however, without her powers, she didn't stand a chance against Sabretooth, and she was killed. (To learn about the highlighted event and/or characters above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by some on the M-Day's bio page.)

More recently, Feral has made mysterious appearances. After some time, it was discovered (even as a surprise to Feral too), that she was just a ghost. Eventually, Feral discovers that her mission is to be a beacon to other worldly forces to lead them to Wolfsbane. In addition, she finds out that if she follows orders, she is promised to get back her body back.

Sally Blevins was a victim of child abuse for a long time. One day, Sally was finally able to escape her abusive stepfather when her mutant power manifested itself for the first time. Upon seeing this, her father kicked Sally out of the house. Now as a runaway, Sally was living on the streets until she met up with the Morlocks (a group of homeless mutants)--she decided to join them. Now as a Morlock, Sally began to live in the "Alley" and took on the nickname of "Skids." (To learn about the Morlocks, click on their highlighted names above.)

At one point, Skids encountered
Rusty Collins, who was being pursued by the Freedom Force (government-chartered mutant enforcers composed of former members of the Brotherhood of Mutants) and a mob of mutant-hating humans. (Rusty had accidentally injured a woman with his pyrokinetic powers and was wanted by the U.S Government.) Skids’ force field allowed the two to escape; however, they were eventually overtaken by the Freedom Force on the edge of Central Park. Fortunately, before the Freedom Force could take them in, a mob of humans attacked the team. In the ensuing confusion, Skids and Rusty tried to escape again. The Freedom Force eventually caught up with them, this time in the sewers beneath New York. Fortunately, the young mutants were saved by the timely arrival of the original X-Factor. After a brief skirmish, the Freedom Force retreated. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the character and/or teams.)

Skids and Rusty decided that they would train  under the X-Factor's mentorship and learn more about their powers. (They essentially becoming the first of several X-Factor “trainees.”) In addition, the two began developing a romantic relationship. They shared other adventures alongside the rest of the trainees (including Artie Maddicks, Leech, and Boom-Boom). At one point, they called themselves the "
X-Terminators." In this capacity, the team helped stop the events of the demonic invasion known as the "Inferno" (Click on the highlighted team and/or event above to learn more about them.)

Later on, however, the X-Factor was disbanded and most of their trainees were inducted into the membership of the
New Mutants. Skids and Rusty, on the other hand, learned that Freedom Force were taking mutant infants (that were abducted during the events of the Inferno) into government custody. The two decided to work together and try to save the children. Unfortunately, they were unsuccesful and they too were imprisoned. (To learn about the New Mutants, click on their highlighted name above.)

Some time later, a mutant terrorist group known as the
Mutant Liberation Front, took notice of Rusty and Skids, and they freed the two from prison. However, in the process, they had a brief run-in with the Cable (he too was trying to rescue the couple). For reasons of their own, the Skids and Rusty voluntarily joined the Mutant Liberation Front instead. (To learn about the team and/or character above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits on the Mutant Liberation Front's bio page..)

Later on, Skids and Rusty were kidnapped by the Acolytes of Magneto when the team attacked and decimated the ranks of the Mutant Liberation Front. The Acolytes took the couple to the orbiting space-station Avalon and inducted them into their group. Unfortunately, sometime later, Holocaust attacked the Acolytes and destroyed their space station headquarters. The result of the attack left Skids injured and Rusty dead. Holocaust was eventually stopped by the X-Men, and Skids was taken to the X-Mansion for medical attention. However, upon recuperation, Skids left the mansion without notice. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the teams, place, and/or character.)

Wanting to start anew, Skids decided to enroll in college in Boulder, Colorado studying biological sciences. However, this didn't last long when she was soon contacted by her friends of the New Mutants who had long since become X-Force. Soon after this, they were all attacked by Reignfire and his incarnation of the Mutant Liberation Front. During this, Skids’ force field disrupted the teleportation abilities of Locus, causing both of them to be caught in a trans-spatial backlash which deposited them in the country of Latveria. Upon their unexpected arrival, Skids and Locus were captured by a sorceress named Pandemonia. However, with the assistance of the young sorceress Jennifer Kale, X-Force managed to defeat Pandemonia and rescue their friends. After this, Skids returned to university life. (To learn about the different team, characters, and place above, just click on their highlighted names. Note: Beware of the form-fitting outfit on Locus' bio page, and Jennifer Kales' revealing outfit on her bio page.)

Later on, at the request of Sunspot, Skids briefly became a member of the Los Angeles branch of the
X-Corporation. She was also on hand to aid the X-Men against the threat of Elias Bogan. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the team and/or character. Also, Skids outfit during her time with the X-Corporation is shown in the fourth picture above.)

Following the events of
M-Day, Skids was one of the "198" mutants who still had their powers. She fled to the Xavier Institute and made a home in the refugee camp there with the other 198 until they were allowed to leave. (To learn about the highlighted event and/or team above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits on the M-Day's bio page.)

More recently, Skids went back to the Morlock Tunnels and supposedly sided with the bad Morlocks. However, she turned out to be an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and turned on them, siding with the X-Men. (To learn about S.H.I.E.L.D., click on the highlighted name above. Also, Skids in her outfit with S.H.I.E.L.D. is shown as the fifth picture above.)

She is immune to the harmful effects of bright lights and loud noise.

Abilities
Dazzler is a highly skilled athlete and roller skater, a good hand-to-hand combatant, and a talented singer, actress, and dancer.

Other Info
Alison Blaire was born to Carter and Katherine Blaire in the Long Island suburb of Gardendale, New York. Her parents had a tense relationship: her father was a stoic law student, while her mother was a free-spirited entertainer. Ultimately, this led to Katherine walking out on her husband and her daughter when Alison was just a toddler. This left Carter to raise Alison alone with the help of his mother, Bella Blaire. Carter kept the shameful true about Katherine from Alison all her life. (To learn about the Dazzler's parents, just click on their highlighted names above.)

When Alison entered adolescence and developed dreams of becoming a singer, her father strongly opposed the idea. Instead, he forced Alison to choose a life path similar to his own and she worked toward going to law school. Alison's grandmother, however, was more sympathetic to young Alison, and encouraged her to explore her creative energies. However, while performing at a middle-school dance, Alison manifested her mutant abilities, blinding all in attendance save herself.

For years, Alison kept her powers a secret from those closest to her, further distancing her from her father. By the time she reached college , Alison began to explore her powers and her musical ability. She crafted her own performing suit and accessories, naming herself "The Dazzler." It was around this time that Alison decided to abandon her father's dream. And at her graduation ceremony, Alison told her father that she wasn't going to attend law school and she was going to pursue her dream of becoming a singer with or without her father's blessing or financial support. (The third picture posted is Dazzler in her stage costume.)

As the Dazzler, Alison used her light-based mutant powers as a draw for her performances. Taking the sound of the music and converting it into dazzling displays of color. This drew attention to land her gigs at several New York clubs. However, due to her being a mutant, Alison knew she had to keep her powers a secret. Claiming that her light shows were a "technological secret," the Dazzler was able to bypass critical speculation for some time. She may have fooled the public, but she couldn't escape the notice of Emma Frost (White Queen of the Hellfire Club) or Charles Xavier (founder and mentor of the X-Men). (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters and/or teams. Note: Beware of the very revealing outfits on Emma Frost and the Hellfire Club's bio pages.)

At one point, both the Hellfire Club and the X-Men sent their own to a Dazzler performance to recruit Alison to their respective teams. The X-Men sent Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Nightcrawler to have a discussion with the young woman, while on the other hand, the Hellfire Club sent a group of armed men to take her by force. This ended with the Dazzler and the X-Men joining forces to take on the others. Afterward, Professor X offered Alison a position within the X-Men; however, she declined. (Click on the characters' highlighted names to learn more about them. Note: Beware of the revealing and/or form-fitting outfits on Jean Grey and Cyclops' bio pages..)

As Alison continued her career, she can into contact a couple other superheroes as well. At one point, she became possessed by the foe Lightmaster, but was saved by Spider-Man. Another time, the Dazzler came across Johnny Storm (aka Human Torch) at a nightclub. She also battled the Enchantress and her minions when she was perfoming at a nightclub. Even the Hulk at one pointed ruined one of her performances. After all these battles, the Dazzler's manager, Harry Osgood, began to question Alison's stage effects. However, when the Enforcers (a group of mercenaries) kidnapped Osgood,  Alison showed up and defeated the Enforcers and saved Harry. Alison decided that she should confess to Harry to she was a mutant. The Dazzler was relieved when Harry gave her his support, and vowed to keep her "technological secret" safe. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters.)

Later on, Alison was taken by Project: PEGASUS against her will and was subject to several strenuous tests regarding her mutant powers. While at Project: PEGASUS, Dazzler witnessed several other super-powered beings being held captive, including Klaw and Solarr. As time went on, Alison became increasingly intolerant toward the members of Project: PEGASUS. The researchers found that Alison had no natural limit to her abilities, and theoretically could be the most powerful mutant on Earth, with unlimited energy potential. However, Alison's intolerance quickly turned into aggression when she witnessed Klaw being tested by PEGASUS technicians and she accidently freed the villain. When this happened, Klaw turned his energies upon Dazzler, unaware that her mutant ability transformed sonic energy into light-based energy. As Dazzler began to absorb Klaw's essence, she found she could not stop the process. The Dazzler fully absorbed Klaw into her body, storing it as light energy. Unable to cope with her "murder," Dazzler used the energy to free herself from the confines of Project: PEGASUS. However, the strong energy signature was noticed by Galactus. So, Galactus abducted Alison to use her to retrieve his renegade herald, Terrax. To do so, Galactus gave Dazzler the power cosmic. When the Dazzler returned with her task accomplished, Alison was able to convince Galactus to pardon Terrax and even return her to Earth. (To learn about the project and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

After this, both of Dazzler's career and personal relationships suffered. She couldn't hold down a gig, and she just couldn't seem to keep any long-term dating relationships. However, she soon began dating the former X-Man Angel. The relationship took some time to get started, but soon the two began a romance.  (To learn about Angel, click on his name above.)

At one point, one of Dazzler's friends found Alison's mother Katherine Blaire. She was hiding as Barbara London, a matronly vocal coach. Soon after this Alison's biggest break yet finally happened: a gig at Carnegie Hall. However, it was during this time that Alsion's father, Carter, confronted Dazzler with the truth about her mother--Katherine did not simply leave the family, but actually slowly denigrated into an unfaithful drug addict who left Carter to be with her new boyfriend, Nicholas Brown. Alison could not believe the horrible story, and left in tears. (She didn't know, however, that Katherine had left the abusive Nick Brown and hid away as Barbara London). Alison's friend convinced Barbara to attend the Carnegie performance, and Carter convinced himself to make amends with his daughter. The family re-united after the performance, with Alison finally coming face-to-face with her mother for the first time in her memory, and also developing a new understanding for her father. Alison also learned that her mother had actually married Nicholas Brown, and had a daughter named Lois--Alison had a half-sister! Alison attempted to form a relationship between both Barbara and Lois London, quickly befriending her new sister. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters.)

Later, the Sisterhood of Evil Mutants--Mystique, Rogue, and Destiny--sought revenge on the X-Men, and decided that the Angel would be an appropriate source of information. They attacked Angel; however, Dazzler defeated the trio of villainesses. (Click on the highlighted characters above to learn more about them. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by Mystique on her bio page.)

Soon after, Lois' powers manifested themselves while being harassed by a homeless derelict, and, unfortunately killed the man in the process. Terrified, Lois asked for Alison's assistance. The two fled New York as fugitives, hiding on the road and assuming brief false names to avoid being tracked by the authorities. After some unfortunate events wear Alison felt betrayed with Lois decided to stay with her father than with her, Alison left. Alone and with nowhere to turn, she began to start her life anew, renting an apartment in San Diego and taking a job as an aerobics instructor and part-time model.

The Dazzler over the next little while had some ups and downs. She became famous again with the release of the film, Dazzler: The Movie. However, during a public relations stunt that would publicly unveil her as a mutant, several jet engines supplied Alison with enough power to demonstrate the magnitude of her abilities. And unfortunately, the sound proved too great, and it backfired, frightening and scattering onlookers. She had to start over again after this, but there was no work for mutants. Then one day when a charismatic man named "Flynn" was able to, with the aid of a drug, cause Alison to lose control of her powers which allowed Flynn to control the Dazzler. Alison joined Flynn's group (an underground group of mutant "gladiators" that battled one another to the death for the amusement of a wealthy human elite). But, with the assistance of the Avenger Beast, Alison was able to break free of her emotional insecurity and the psionic influence that plagued her, and together the two brought an end to the gladiator ring.  (To learn about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

Eventually, Alison turned to the X-Men for assistance in honing her mutant abilities. Agreeing to the request, Professor X gave Alison a suit that amplified and gave precision to her powers. Alison then turned to the road, combating villains and owning her role as a super-hero.

Sometime later, Dazzler was forced to confront and cooperate with Rogue, her one-time adversary who wished to kill her. While the two heroines formed a tepid friendship, it was tested several times as Rogue envied Dazzler's relationship with teammate Longshot. During her time with the X-Men, Dazzler learned more about teamwork and cooperation the hard way--she tried to take on the Juggernaut by her lonesome. (To learn about the characters above, just click on their names.)

Later on, the X-Men gravitated to Australia to confront a band of cyborg looters known as the Reavers. The team then took over the Reavers base in the Australian Outback, where they made permanent residence. Alison, accustomed to the social life of New York City and Southern California, often grew intolerant of the new environment. However, the Dazzler provided a much-needed source of entertainment and verve. Jubilee even found comfort in Dazzler. Unfortunately, the team one by one completely fell apart for different reasons. (To learn about the highlighted team and/or character above, just click on their name.)

Much later, Alison decided to stay with Longshot in the Mojoverse, and assist him in his fight for independence. During this time, Alison became pregnant; however, she lost the child. (To learn more abou the Mojoverse, just click on the highlighted name above. Also, during her time in the Mojoverse, Dazzler wore the outfit shown in the first picture posted above.)

Later, Dazzler joined the superhero team Excalibur. With the help of her teammates, they were able to put and end to a fake X-men team, defeated Black Tom Cassidy, and when Camelot was destroyed in the past they aided in defeating the evil forces at hand. (To learn about the highlighted team and/or character above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by some on the Excalibur's bio page. Also, the fifth picture posted is what Dazzler looked like when she was a member of Excalibur.)

After some time, Dazzler and Longshot relocated to San Francisco. Once there, she joined the X-Men's street team, fighting crime at the street level, and frequently partnered with Northstar. She was instrumental in defeating Madelyne Pryor-Summers' Sisterhood of Mutants, helping take down the resurrected Kwannon.
(To learn about the characters and/or team, just click on their highlighted names. Note: Beware of the very revealing picture on Madelyne Pryor's bio page.)

Later, when William Stryker used a device to trap Magik in Limbo, Cyclops sent Dazzler, Cannonball, Northstar, Anole, Gambit, and Pixie to bring Magik back. While in Limbo, Gambit reverted back to his "Death" persona and attacked his team and converted Alison and Northstar. However, they were returned to normal again and the team was successful in rescuing Illyana and returning home.  (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about those characters.)

More recently, when Lobe unleashed his mutant plague on Utopia, Dazzler was one of the few mutants not on the island, and thus was part of the only active X-Men team, along with Pixie, Northstar, Storm, and Angel. The team defeated the Collective Man and captured Lobe's imitation X-Men. (To learn about the place and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names. Battle Royal 15 Results

It was a close one, but the winner of the Battle Royal 15 is...drum roll please...Agent Garrett!

Personally, I didn't see that one coming. But, the Marvel Maniacs have spoken and Agent Garrett wins with 3 votes! On a very interesting note, there was a three-way tie for second place between Kid Omega, H.E.R.B.I.E., and Richard Parker! Each received 2 votes. They were just one vote away from tying in first place and two votes from the win. Close one!!!

Thank you to all those who voted. This one was fun to see how the first place changed all throughout the voting time.

Anyway, as always Marvel Maniacs...KEEP UP THE MADNESS!!!

Amara Juliana Olivians Aquilla comes from the country of Nova Roma (New Rome)--a colony of the Roman Republic reportedly founded shortly after the death of Julius Caesar in 44 BC. The place remained as a hidden Amazonian city in modern-day Brazil. The country was ruled for by the immortal mutant sorceress known as Selene. Amara was the daughter of the First Senator, Lucius Antonius Aquilla--he was presumably a descent of Hercules. Growing up in Nova Roma, Amara had curly blonde hair, and wore a traditional white Roman toga. (To learn more about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

At one point, a faction of the city’s population attempted to transform the republic into an imperial state and a dark cult following the "Black Priestess" Selene. In addition, they were regularly sacrificing young girls in a pit of fire. Senator Aquilla was the leader of the opposition to this faction; however, fearing for his Amara's life, the Senator disguised Amara as a Brazilian Indian and had her leave the colony. While out there, she was discovered by the New Mutants; however, she and them were both captured by soldiers of Nova Roma. After this, Amara was thrown into a lava pool as human sacrifice, but rather than harming Amara, her immersion in the lava awakened her latent mutant powers. Amara re-emerged from the lava pool, alive and unblemished. Together with the New Mutants, Amara defeated Selene and the rising rebellion faction. After the battle, Amara's father urged her to leave Nova Roma, in the company of the New Mutants, to be taught by Charles Xavier and to learn about modern civilization.  (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters.)

Soon, Amara became a member of the New Mutants herself and went under the code-name of "Magma." In the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Magma was tutored by Professor X, and trained in the use of her powers, in the Danger Room. At first, Magma experienced culture shock; however, she soon got a handle on modern civilization, including computers and electricity. Amara also made quick progress in the use of her powers, being able to melt tunnels into the ground with the walls cooling down in mere seconds. (Click on the highlighted name above to learn about the places. Also, the third picture posted is of Magma in her original yellow and blue X-Men outfit.)

As a New Mutant, Magma clashed with Emma Frost and her super-powered teens, the Hellions on multiple occasions. Despite the cruelties displayed by the Hellion Empath, Magma began to develop an attraction towards him. She recognized this and became disturbed by these feelings. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters and/or team. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits on Emma Frost's bio page.)

On one occasion, Amara invades the Hellfire Club's New York Headquarters to battle Selene. It was here that Selene stated that she had killed her mother and was actually Amara's grandmother. Magma refused to believe Selene's claim. Troubled in these new revelations, Magma soon left the New Mutants and joined with the Hellions, stating that she was sent to learn about civilization and she wished to learn from the Hellions now. (To learn about the Hellfire Club, click on the highlighted name above. Note: Beware of the scantily-clad women in the Hellfire Club's bio page.)

It was during her time with the Hellions, that Amara was ordered by her father to return home to her arranged marriage. Emma Frost told Magma that she should do so, and ordered Empath to accompany her. On the plane ride there, they experienced bad weather and their plane crashed. This lead to Amara and Empath living in the jungles for a time together, where they grew closer and even kissed. However, eventually, Amara's father found them and returned them to Nova Roma.

Later on, former Hellions Warpath, Firestar, and Cannonball came to South America to tell Amara and Empath about the death of their former teammates by Chronomancer. It was soon after this that Magma discovered that her people and the city of Nova Roma were a complete lie. The city had not been founded by ancient Roman settlers, but instead was populated by the kidnapped and mind-wiped victims of Selene. But, with Selene gone from the area, the spell had started to fade. Empath had tried to prolong the "illusion" because for the first time in his life, he was happy. The people of Nova Roma started to regain their memories and Amara was told that her real name was "Allison Crestmere" and that she was a mutant of British descent. Sometime after this discovery, Magme decided to leave Empath and her friends to search for her family in England. (To learn about the highlighted characters above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the revealing outfit worn by Firestar on her bio page.)

Magma was not seen again until she appeared as "Allison" in the New Hellions. The leader of the New Hellions, King Bedlam, called Alison a "British exile," so it appeared that she did not rebuild her old life as planned. How she came to join him is unknown. However, when King Bedlam unleashed the Armageddon Man on the United States, Magma did not leave with him, and instead helped the X-Force shut down a nuclear reactor and stop the Armageddon Man. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the teams and/or character.)

Later on, Magma was among a group of mutants captured and crucified on the front lawn of Xavier’s X-Mansion by the Church of Humanity. Fortunately, Magma was among the few victims saved from certain death by quick transfusion of Archangel's new healing-factor-laced blood. But, Magma remained in a coma for a time. (To learn about Archangel, just click on his name above.)

Just a few weeks later, Amara awoke from her coma due to Elixir's healing powers. However, when Magma awoke, she let out a power blast that nearly demolished the entire wing. She then ran away. Soon after though, she joined up with the X-Treme X-Men team in California and reunited with her old friend Cannonball, and ran into Empath as well. Magma no longer thought of herself as "Allison" and was instead completely back to her "Amara" persona. How and why this change occurred is unknown. (To learn about the highlighted character and/or team above, just click on their names. Also, Magma in her X-Treme X-Men outfit is show in the fifth picture posted above. Note: Beware of revealing outfits worn by some on the X-Treme X-Men's bio page.)

Later on, while vacationing in Guadeloupe, Amara found a new boyfriend, Antonio Argent--a mutant with almost the same powers as Magma. Unfortunately, while the two were on a date in the magma of a volcano, the events of "M-Day" occurred (where most of the mutants in the world suddenly became de-powered) He and Antonio combusted in the twinkling of an eye. Magma did not lose her powers, and Antonio's death temporarily drove her insane causing her to make the volcano erupt and attack a nearby town. (Click on the highlighted character and/or event above to learn more about them. Note: Beware of the revealing outfits worn by some on the M-Day's bio page.)

Later on, Magma fought alongside the other X-Men when the Skrulls invaded San Francisco. She surrenders along with all the other X-Men as part of a trap to spread the Legacy Virus amongst the Skrulls. (To learn about the race, team, and/or virus above, just click on their highlighted names.)

More recently, after Bastion systematically eliminated all of the X-Men's teleporters, he encased the entire island of Utopia in an impenetrable dome and, at the center, opened a portal to his original timeline (here, Sentinels ruled and mutants and super-humans were outlawed). This lead to an endless wave of Nimrod-Series Sentinels coming to Utopia. Magma was seen battling the Sentinels in the airspace around Utopia. In the film X2, "Aquilla, Amara" appears on a list of names found on William Stryker's computer files. (Her name is listed on the very top of the list on the second picture posted above.)

A young Hugo Natchios was newly appointed as Greek Ambassador. He and his wife, Christina, had a young son named Orestez. However, Hugo was humiliated as his wife would openly display her extra-marital relations. In addition to this humiliation, Hugo also received criticism from the public on his ability to manage the world when he couldn't even manage his own home.

One night, after Christina was pregnant with a second child, a drunken Hugo told Orestez that his mother was an embarrassment and that he wasn't even sure if the second child was his. When Hugo continued stating that Orestez's mother shamed them both, their son replied that it would never happen again.

Soon after this, Hugo and Christina were vacationing on an island near the Aegean sea. Then just before noon, a helicopter flew over and fired on Hugo and Christina. Hugo was shot once and became incapacitated, while Christina was shot multiple times. Christina barely survived long enough to give birth to her daughter and then died from her wounds. It was later revealed that Orestez had setup the attack; however, he had been unaware that Hugo was going to be there too. He was devastated that he had nearly killed his father. Guilt from the attack drove Hugo's son away from home.

After the attack, Hugo recovered, but wanted nothing to do with the baby. However, when the doctor's came back with test results that proved that the baby girl was his, Hugo accepted the baby and named her Elektra. And even though Hugo never completely forgave Christina for her infidelity, he did appreciate that she gave him Elektra. (To learn more about Elektra, click on the highlighted name above. Note: Beware of the revealing/skin-tight outfits on her bio page.)

Every day, Hugo gave Elektra something new, from a flower picked up by the roadside to a piece of amber that seemed to spark as it caught the sun. Hugo even gave Elektra the nickname "Little Amber." But, Elektra's favorite gift from her father was a pet dog named Agamemnon.

When Elektra was nine-years old, criminals came killed Agamemnon and kidnapped Elektra in the hope of ransoming her back to Hugo. However, Elektra was rescued by Orestez who brought her back to their father. Hugo graciously thanked Orestez and welcomed him back into his household. However, the memories of his past actions were still too painful for Orestez, and he his father once again. The next morning, Hugo flew Elektra to a sensei from Japan's Iga Province, and his daughter began her fist lesson in the martial arts.

Hugo's was close to his daughter; however, she had some troubled times as she grew up. At times, Elektra would have dark visions and hear voices which sometimes led her to self-mutilation. Due to this, Hugo sent Elektra away for therapy until she seemed to have become for stable

When Elektra was nineteen years old, Hugo accompanied his daughter on her initial tour of Columbia University to where see was going to be attending.

A year after his daughter started at Columbia, Hugo and Elektra were both taken hostage by terrorists at Columbia's administration building. Elektra's romance interest, Matt Murdock, donned a mask and came to their rescue (Elektra also helped to take out some of the terrorists too). At one point, one of the terrorists was knocked out a window. Despite Matt Murdock's warning, the disoriented Hugo stood up in front of the window. Unfortunately, when the police below saw Hugo, they mistakenly thought that he was the terrorists and had just thrown a hostage out of the window and he was fatal shot by the police.
