  1. So, of course, I wanted to vote for Hulk because he's the man! But, let's be honest...Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Wolverine are probably the most popular of the characters. Wolverine is definitely on the rise with all the X-Men movies coming out. And everybody loves Iron Man (even some people who don't like superheroes...liked the Iron Man movie.) So both are definitely competitors; however, my vote goes to Spider-Man.

Spider-Man has been around for a very loooooong time! Plus, it always seems that Spider-Man is almost always in the front of the crowd in giant pictures of multiple Marvel characters. Therefore...I believe... Spider-man...is the "Face" of Marvel!

  2. My vote was split between Spider-Man and Wolverine. I almost went with Spider-Man instead of Wolverine b/c Wolverine is more of the face of X-men, but Spider-Man has no one other than Marvel to be a face for... HOWEVER, I think Wolverine is just too cool and everyone knows that Hugh Jackman is way way cooler than Tobey Maguire. I had to go with Wolverine.

  3. My vote went to Spider Man. He is in more issues, more movies and will probably be in more movies. I think it a toss betwene Iron Man Wolverine, Spider Man and Captin America. The first three because of recent movies and spider Man nad Cap for people who read the old school comics. Spider man is retro and new so I think he gets the title.

  4. I had to go with Wolverine because he also has been around for a long time. And if you look back at all the other storylines......look who is always showing up! Wolverine has been on lots of different superhero teams and he seems to be in almost every other superhero's story for at least a little while. I think he is also the most well known superhero for todays population.

  5. I went with Spiderman. And I agree with the 2nd paragraph in Cory's comment as my reasoning. :) (Plus, I love his old school theme song.) :)

  6. I think the face of Marvel SHOULD be Captain America. He's the leader of tons of the heroes, he's been around forever and he has a fantastic story and character, they just haven't made a decent movie for him yet.
So as far as who it actually is, before Wolverine's new movie came out I would have agreed with Cory and said Spider-Man, but the 3rd Spider-Man movie wasn't what it should have been, and I think that franchise has lost some fan interest because of that. Wolverine, on the other hand, was fabulous and wildly popular. So, with 4 movies and popularity still growing, Wolverine takes the cake. Iron Man, with a couple more good movies could move up there, even eclipse Spider-Man, but I don't see Wolverine losing to anyone at this point.

  7. I was torn between Spidey and Wolvy too, but I went with Spider-Man, because 1, he had the first movies, so he kind of started this whole Marvel movie madness. Also, Wolverine is a little too dark to be the face of the entire group.

  8. Lyn'D says: SPIDER-MAN... Before the movies came out, I really didn't know who belonged to what or had never heard of them... I knew Spider-Man was Marvel and batman was DC... PLUS Spider-Man works with just about every other Marvel superhero at least once. Wolverine is getting all the attention because he now has the face of hunky Hugh Jackman and his was the last movie released.

  9. Lyn'D says: And Spider-Man has more morals than Wolverine.

  10. In further defense of spider man. How many Wolverines did you see at Halloween? We ran into 3 or 4 spider-mans. and zero for any other Marvel heroes.
