Powers
As a Kree, Ronan is resistant to poison, toxins, and disease. He also has a superhuman strength, endurance, speed, and reflexes. Ronan can normally lift or press around 10 tons, and around 80 tons with his armor on. In his armor, Ronan is provided further protection and strength, along with scanners and a cloaking device. Ronan can fire
powerful blasts from his eyes wearing the armor. Devices in his gauntlets allows him to generate cold to put certain lifeforms into
suspended animation. In addition, when using his Universal Weapon (a
device which uses cosmic energy for a variety of effects according to
the wielder's will), Ronan can disintegrate, transmute, and/or rearrange matter. The weapon can also absorb and/or project energy
blasts, create "time-motion displacement fields," and achieve
interstellar teleportation. The weapon has a built-in failsafe: only
Accusers in their armor can safely wield it.
Abilities
Ronan is a highly
skilled soldier with military genius. He is a great strategist and interrogator. Having received Kree military
combat training, he is well versed in hand-to-hand combat and in the use of Kree technology. He is also an expert on Kree law and practice.
Other Info
Ronan was born into one of aristocratic Kree
families (blue-skinned Kree) on the planet Hala. After completing his formal education, Ronan was
accepted into the ranks of the Kree Public Accuser Corps (the main law enforcement for the Kree Empire), where he quickly rose
through the ranks. During a border incident, he
stopped a fleet of Skrull ships from entering Kree space. Thus resulting in Ronan's promotion to "Supreme Public Accuser of the Kree Empire." This made him responsible for enforcing the laws and decrees of the Kree, and second
only to the Supreme Intelligence (the Imperial Minister). Therefore, he became known as "Ronan the Accuser." However, as a proud member of the Kree aristocracy, Ronan was not happy taking orders from the Supreme
Intelligence. So, at one point, he attempted to cause a civil war; however, that was quickly halted, and he returned to service. (To learn about the races, place, and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)
Ronan's first encounter with heroes from Earth was when he was sent on a mission to punish the Fantastic Four for defeating the Kree Inter-Galactic Sentry 459. Ronan made an attack against the Fantastic Four, but was ultimately defeated. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the teams and/or characters.)
During the Kree-Shi'ar War, Ronan joined the Starforce; however, it wasn't long until he quit. (To learn about the event and/or team above, just click on their names.)
Much later, when Earth became intergalactic prison,
Ronan served as the warden of the planet. It was later revealed that this was part of an elaborate trap by the
Supreme Intelligence to subvert the Galactic Council and use Ego the Living Planet as a weapon. However, even though Ronan was able to elevate his power by tapping into Ego's own energy, he was eventually defeated when Mister Fantastic, Iron Man, Giant-Man (Hank Pym), and Bruce Banner managed to create a machine that transferred Ego's essence into Quasar instead; thus, weakening Ronan. (To learn about the highlighted event, and/or characters above, just click on their names.)
At one point, Ronan was falsely accused of treason and was stripped of his "Accuser" rank by a House Fiyero (a group that was ruling the Kree at the time). Therefore, in order to clean his name, he sought the one who testified against him: Tana Nile. Ronan eventually found her on Godthab Omega as part of Gamora's team known as the Graces. His arrival eventually led to a fight between Ronan and Gamora. However, their battle had no winner as it was interrupted by the invasion of Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave. Both Ronan and Gamora ended up joining Nova and his United Front
to fight against the Wave for a time. At one point, Ronan returned to Hala with his sworn enemy Kl'rt (Super-Skrull) and Praxagora to dethrone the House Fiyero who were planning to side with Ravenous
and Annihilus. After knocking Ravenous unconscious and killing the
House Fiyero, Ronan attempted to locate the Supreme Intelligence, only
to find that Fiyero had lobotomized it. In an act of mercy, Ronan killed the Supreme Intelligence. Upon exiting the chambers, the Kree people unanimously cheered and called on him to become their new emperor. Later, when Ravenous came back to Hala with a stronger force,
Ronan led a violent attack on Ravenous' fleet. Then, after the massive destruction of the Annihilation
Wave by Galactus, Ronan participated in the forging of a treaty between the United Front and Ravenous that ceded certain Kree territories, and all of the former Skrull Empire, in order to end the hostilities. (To learn about the above
highlighted characters, teams, and/or place, just click on their
names above. Note: Beware of the very revealing outfit worn by one on
the Graces and Tana Nile's bio pages.)
Later, the Kree were invaded and cut off from the rest of the universe by the Phalanx, led by Ultron. Ultron used a form of the Technarchy transmode virus to infect/create a team of super-soldiers, known as the Phalanx Select--Ronan became one of them. However, he was eventually freed of the Phalanx's influence when Wraith pummeled Ronan. Now free of their control, Ronan, along with Wraith, Kl'rt, Praxagora, and Ra-Venn, made his way to the former Kree capitol: Kree-Lar. Ronan attempted to activate the 15,000 Kree Sentries beneath the palace; however, Ultron, ended up taking control of the sentries himself and formed a new body. Fortunately, after descending to the surface, they all helped in the defeat of
Ultron, by having Wraith use his Exolons to trap Ultron. With the
Phalanx defeated, Ronan was left to pick up the pieces of the Kree
Empire. (Click on the
highlighted names above to learn about the races, characters, team, and/or place. Note: Beware of the very form-fitting outfit on Ultron and Ra-Venn's bio pages.)
Later on, Medusa of the Inhumans tried to establish an alliance between the Inhumans and the Kree to help find their leader, Black Bolt, from the Skrulls. Ronan agreed to help them in exchange for Crystal's hand in marriage. They agreed, and Ronan provided them with information regarding the
Skrull communications network. Seeking revenge, the Inhumans attacked the Skrulls and destroyed their fleeing vessels. However, after the attack on the Skrulls, the
Inhumans turned on the Kree and invaded their empire. Eventually being defeated, Ronan was forced to kneel before Black Bolt as the new ruler of the Kree Empire. To bring their
two races closer together, the marriage of Ronan and Crystal (of the Inhuman Royal Family) was still planned to proceed. However, when Ronan overheard Crystal talking about how she saw the marriage as just a political affair, Ronan was disappointed and heart-broken. Then on their wedding day, they were attacked by the Shi'ar and the Imperial Guard who were serving under Emperor Vulcan. As Crystal was being attacked, Ronan came to save her, but he was double-teamed and gravely injured. Thus, began the War of Kings. During the ensuing War, Crystal actually stayed
by Ronan's side, watching over him and relaying information about the War. She also confirmed to
him that their wedding ceremony was completed and that they were truly married. Over time, feelings began to grow between Ronan and Crystal. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters, races, team, and/or event. Note: Beware of the form-fitting outfits and/or reveling outfits on Medusa and Crystal's bio pages.)
At one point, Ronan was chosen by Nova to be a part of his cosmic heavy hitters to launch a sneak attack on the evil Magus. But, even with the help of the Silver Surfer, Gladiator, Quasar, and Beta Ray Bill, they couldn't stop him. Then, towards the end of the War, Blackbolt detonated the Terrigen-Bomb which
punched a hole in space/time known as The Fault--a doorway to a universe analogous to our own where there is no death (aka the Cancerverse). The first creature to come through was a giant squid that instinctively attacked the Inhuman city of Attilan. Ronan and the others fought off the invading forces of the Cancerverse at the Fault. At one point, they learned of Star-Lord's wish to have them form a team
of the strongest in the universe to guard it. Therefore, Ronan and the others joined forces to become a team known as the Annihilators. (To learn about the highlighted characters, places, event,
The Annihilators first threat came in the form of the Dire Wraith sorcerer Doctor Dredd.
They struggled to defeat him until Ronan absorbed the energies of the sorcerer and knocked him out
with his Universal Weapon. However, it was soon revealed that Dredd was a Skrull imposter named Klobok. (To learn about the race and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)
More recently, Ronan the Accuser and the Supreme Intelligence appeared as members of the Galactic Council.

In the 31st Century, in an alternate future (Earth-691), a group of diverse superhumans and extraterrestrial adventurers formed a team known as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" to fight the Badoon race--who had conquered the multiple solar systems. The founding members of the team were Vance Astro (Major Victory), Charlie-27, Yondu, and Martinex. The Guardians became dedicated to guarding of the Milky Way Galaxy from any force that threatened the safety of its various people. At times, these future Guardians of the Galaxy have encountered, and even teamed up with, citizens of our current reality (Earth-616) including, Captain America, Spider-Man, Thing, Thor, the Defenders, and the Avengers. (To learn about the timelines, race, characters, and/or teams above, just click on their highlighted names. Also, these future Guardians of the Galaxy can be seen in the first picture posted above.)
In the modern day Earth-616 timeline, after the Annihilation Wave and the Phalanx invasion of Ultron, Star-Lord saw a need for a proactive strike team to protect the universe form violent attacks. Therefore, he asked Mantis to telepathically influence Adam Warlock, Phyla-Vell, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, and Gamora to join his team. On the recommendation of their ally, Nova, the team established a base on the space station known as Knowhere--the base possessed a teleportation system with near-universal range. An intelligent, telepathic dog named Cosmo was Knowhere's Chief of Security and assisted the team in plotting courses for the trouble-spots in the universe. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the team, race, characters, and/or place. Note: Beware of the VERY revealing outfits on Gamora and Ultron's bio pages--block images if possible--and a revealing outfit worn by one in the background of Mantis' bio page.)
During the team's first outing, to close a fissure within the fabric of reality, they ended up destroying a Templeship belonging to the Universal Church of Truth. Then, while attempting to prevent another fissure disturbance, the team discovered a massive rock, metal, and organic matter, frozen solid. Before the heroes could piece together the puzzle of what they had discovered, they were attack by unknown aliens that had begun thawing from the frozen ice. During the battle, an amnesia-ridden Major Victory thawed from one of the ice blocks. Adam Warlock incinerated the mass as his teammates retreated back to Knowhere with the disoriented Major Victory. Afterward, Major Victory tells the heroes that he is part of an team called the Guardians of the Galaxy from the future. As they had yet to give themselves a name, the team adopted the "Guardians of the Galaxy" name for their own. (To learn about the Avengers Mansion, click on its highlighted name above.)
Later on, when the team learned that Star-Lord had Mantis telepathically coerce them into joining the team, they disbanded--each member splitting off onto their own missions. Adam Warlock and Gamora went to find out more about the Universal Church of Truth; Drax and Phyla-Vell went looking for Drax's missing friend Cammi; Star-Lord left to respond to a request for help from the Kree; and Rocket decided to continue the team's original mission. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the character and/or race. Note: Beware of the revealing outfit worn by one on Cammi's bio page.)
Eventually, Rocket Raccoon took it in his own hands to reform the Guardians of the Galaxy and lead them himself. He began recruiting others to join him. Eventually, the team consisted of all of its original members, with additions such as Groot, Major Victory, Bug, Jack Flag, and Moondragon. And when Star-Lord rejoined the team, he became leader once again. This new team prepared for the coming war between the Shi'ar, and their new Emperor Vulcan, and the Inhumans/Kree led by Blackbolt. At the end of the war, however, the Inhuman King of the Kree, Blackbolt, detonated the Terrigen-Bomb which punched a hole in space/time known as The Fault--a doorway to a universe analogous to our own where there is no death (aka the Cancerverse). The first creature to come through was a giant squid that instinctively attacked the Inhuman city of Attilan. The Guardians of the Galaxy engaged in a long battle against him which ultimately resulted in the he resurrection of Thanos, and the death of some of the Guardians, including Star-Lord and Nova who sacrificed their lives to keep Thanos in the Cancerverse. The survivors hailed Peter and Nova as heroes and a statue was erected in their honor on Kree-Lar. (To learn about the above highlighted event, races, characters, and/or places, just click on their their names. Also, the third picture posted above is of the team when Rocket Raccoon led the team.)
It was later revealed that Star-Lord had actually managed to escape from the Cancerverse. He soon returned to a recreated Guardians of the Galaxy team. The team had learned that Thanos had managed to get a Cosmic Cube from the United States Army and used it to escape to Moord--the homeland of the Badoon. Therefore, they went to the Avengers Tower and informed the Avengers about the situation. So, the two teams joined forces to battle against Thanos and the Badoon. However, after Thanos had apparently killed the Elders of the Universe, he became one with the Cosmic Cube and killed the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy as well. But, in reality, they all had just been sent to the Cancerverse along with the Elders of the Universe. Once there, Iron Man (Tony Stark) found that Thanos' weapon wasn't actually a Cosmic Cube--it had defects. Therefore, they bargained with the Collector, in exchange of a weapon capable of deactivating the "Cube" and returned to Earth. Back on Earth, the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, along with the Elders of the Universe, defeated Thanos. The Elders then took Thanos to punish him for his actions. Afterwards, Star-Lord personally offered Iron Man a spot on the team, which he gladly accepted for a short time. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the item, places, teams, and/or characters. Also, Iron Man as part of the team is shown in the fourth picture posted.)
Later on, King Jason of the Spartoi Empire alerted his son, Star-Lord, that a Galactic Council had decided that Earth was too dangerous and should be left alone. Knowing that such a decree would draw Earth's enemies to the planet, the Guardians of the Galaxy rushed to Earth to protect it. And as expected, the team discovered a Badoon ship heading to attack Earth; however, they were able to defeat them. As they continued to guard Earth, the Guardians intercepted Angela heading towards Earth. Believing her to be a threat, the Guardians fought her as well. However, when they discovered that she was actually one of the numerous beings who were pulled from realm of Heaven to this dimension after the space-time continuum was broken, they let her go. (To learn about character and/or people, just click on the highlighted names above.)
More recently, two of Earth's heroes, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Agent Venom (Flash Thompson) have joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. (To learn about the characters above, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the very skin-tight outfit worn by Captain Marvel on her bio page. Education
College graduate and NASA astronaut training
Height
6'2"
Weight
175 lbs.

Blond
Powers
Peter Quill is son of a human and a Spartoi, and his hybrid physiology grants him above the peak human power, strength, durability, agility, and stamina. He seems capable of taking several gunshot and puncture wounds as well as beatings and still stand on his feet. Peter also has enhanced mental strength, allowing his mind to process information quickly, giving him an accelerated learning aptitude. Due to his Human/Spartoi hybrid nature, it is assumed he will age at a decelerated rate (as the Spartoi have a life span three times longer than humans from Earth).
In addition, Star-Lord wore a costume that enabled him to survive in space. It is possible that the costume has actually altered his physical structure, as he does not need to wear any helmet, or any form of life support to survive the nearly absolute zero, airless vacuum. With the suit, he can fly through space. The suit also granted him enhanced healing and uses personal energy shields.
For a time, Star-Lord wielded the Element Gun, which drew the four elements from the planet (earth, air, fire, and water) and projected them at their targets.
After his battle with the Fallen One, Star-Lord received a cybernetic implants: a left eye which allowed him to see all energy spectra; and a memory chip in his brain gave him 100% recall. However, on the Kree planet of Aladon Prime, Star-Lord's cybernetic implants were removed.
Abilities
Star-Lord is highly athletic, a skilled marksman, swordsman, and hand-to-hand combatant in multiple fighting styles. Star-Lord is a master strategist and problem solver and skilled in battle techniques. He is well versed in alien customs, societies, cultures, and languages. In addition, he is a accomplish starship pilot.
Other Info
While traveling in space, Prince Jason of the Spartoi Empire was summoned by his father, Eson, to return home due to war breaking out between the Spartoi Empire and the Ariguan Confederacy. However, while on his way back, Jason's ship crash landed in Earth's Colorado Mountains. A woman named Meredith Quill witnessed the crash, and dragged Jason from the burning ship. As she nursed him back to health and helped him rebuild his ship, the pair fell in love and conceived a child. In order to return to the war, and unwilling to endanger Meredith and their child, Jason reluctantly left them behind--promising to return for them once the war ended. However, to spare Meredith the heartache that he felt, Jason ended up locking Meredith's memories of them. (To learn about the above highlighted characters and/or people, just click on their names.)
Less than a month later, Meredith married her childhood sweetheart, Jake. But, when Meredith had the child, Jake suspected that the child was not his, saying the infant didn't resemble either of them. He then tried to kill the child, but before he could do so, he suffered a heart attack and died. Afterwards, mentally and physically weakened, Meredith's centered her life around raising Peter. He ended up growing up a loner, fascinated by science fiction shows and NASA. (To learn about NASA, just click on the highlighted name above.)
As the war between Spartoi and Ariguan turned in Spartoi's favor, Jason asked his uncle Gareth to bring his family to him. However, desiring the throne for himself, Gareth instead hired others to slay the Quill family. When they arrived to the Quill residence, Peter (now 11 years old) witnessed the men kill his mother. The men then left, not knowing Peter was there. From that day, Peter swore one day he would get his revenge for what they did. Gareth lied to Jason that his wife and son had died in childbirth. Afterward, Peter was placed in an orphanage; however, on his 13th birthday, he ran away. (To learn about Gareth, click on his highlighted name.)
Devoting himself to intense study, Peter ended up graduating college and was accepted into NASA's astronaut training program. Even though he was one of their highest ever scoring trainees, Peter lacked social skills and his sole friend was his pet owl named Al. At one point during training, Peter risked his life to save fellow student Greg Harrelson when a centrifuge malfunctioned; however, afterwards, he yelled at Harrelson for being too stupid to save himself. Eventually, Peter was assigned to Eve--NASA's first permanently manned space station. Peter loved space; however, while there, he remembered about how his childhood vow of revenge might never be fulfilled as mankind's limited technology meant he was unlikely to venture further into space. Therefore, when an alien entity called the Master of the Sun visited the space station and offered the mantle of Star-Lord (an interplanetary policeman) to a worthy candidate, Quill volunteered. Unfortunately, NASA denied him due to his lack of experience and they chose Harrelson instead. Enraged, and refusing to listen to NASA, Peter threw Harrelson out of the way and was transported away instead. (To learn about the characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)
Upon arrival, the Master of the Sun turned Peter into "Star-Lord." To free Peter of his need for vengeance, the Master of the Sun created an illusion in which Star-Lord was able to find and kill the aliens that murdered his mother. Afterwards, the Master informed him he was free to begin a new life and gave him a sentient vessel named Ship (Aurora) to be his guide. (Click on the highlighted name above to learn more about Ship. Also, Star-Lord in his first costume is shown in the third picture posted above.)
Later on, Ship took Star-Lord into his father's future time, where he learned of Ariguan slavers destroying whole planets and enslaving the survivors. Catching up with them, just after they had devastated Windhölme, Star-Lord attacked--inspiring a slave revolt that was able to overpower their oppressors. Afterward, Star-Lord learned that the slaving financed a planned coup. Accompanied by the revolt's leaders, Kip Hölm and Sandy, Star-Lord raced back to Spartoi to prevent this. Once there, they were confronted Gareth and Rruothk'ar, where Star-Lord recognized Rruothk'ar as his mother's killer and slew him. Star-Lord then crossed swords with Gareth. Being a superior duelist, Gareth disarmed and unmasked Star-Lord; startled by his resemblance to Jason, his shock allowed Star-Lord to slay Gareth moments before the Emperor arrived. Recognizing his son, Jason of Spartoi informed Peter of his origins, overjoyed to have found him alive. In fact, Jason asked Peter to become the empires heir, but Peter refused him, suggesting Jason adopt Kip instead. (To learn about the place and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)
Much later, Star-Lord returned to Spartoi for his father's 100th Coronation Jubilee, regretting he had never taken the opportunity to get to know him. Afterward, Jason willing departed with his son to explore the universe, leaving the throne to Kip. However, at one point, Star-Lord was separated from Ship when she was caught in a black hole's gravity. With much difficulty, they were able to escape. However, the fate of his father is unknown.
At one point, Star-Lord was confronted by the former Herald of Galactus: the Fallen One. Star-Lord successfully subdued his much stronger opponent; however, unknowingly, Ship and 350,000 lives were sacrificed to provide the energy needed to stop the Fallen One. Guilt-stricken at what had happened, Peter abandoned his Star-Lord identity and accepted life imprisonment on the interstellar prison of Kyln. Due to severe injuries, Satr-Lord was grafted with cybernetic implants by doctor on Kyln: a left eye which allowed him to see all energy spectra; and a memory chip in his brain which gave him 100% recall. (To learn about the group, character, and/or place, just click on the highlighted names above. Also, Star-Lord with his cybernetic implants is shown in the fourth picture posted above.)
Later, while in prison, Peter allied with fellow inmates including Ch'ak, Gladiator, Moloka Dar, to appose the cosmic-powered Maker. They planned to pit Thanos against the Maker, with the hopes that he would defeat her--which he did. Afterwards, Gladiator took Peter into his custody, and drafted him into the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. (To learn about the highlighted characters, race, and/or team above, just click on their names.)
After serving his time with the Imperial Guard, Quill joined Nova (Richard Rider) and his United Front to resist the Annihilation Wave. As Nova's main advisor, Peter was a valuable asset against the forces of Annihilus; however, he refused to speak about his past to anybody. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or teams. Also, Star-Lord during his time with the United Front is shown in the first picture posted above.)
He later acted as military adviser to the Kree general Ronan the Accuser against the invading alien race the Phalanx led by Ultron. Then when the Kree homeworld of Hala was conquered by the Phalanx, Peter was forced to dawn his "Star-Lord" alias once again, and lead a band of rebels against the invaders until the war was over. (To learn about the races, character, and/or place above, just click on their highlighted name. Note: Beware of the very form-fitting outfit on Ultron's bio page.)
After the War, who saw the need for a proactive strike team to protect the universe form violent attacks such as the Annihilation Wave and the Phalanx, Star-Lord decided to form a new Guardians of the Galaxy team. In fact, Star-Lord had Mantis telepathically influence Adam Warlock, Phyla-Vell, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, and Gamora to join his team. However, after some time, Star-Lord's deception was revealed and everyone quit the team except Mantis. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the Guardians of the Galaxy and/or some of its members. Note: Beware of the VERY revealing outfit worn by Gamora on her bio page, and a revealing outfit worn by one in the background of Mantis' bio page.)
Much later, Rocket Raccoon was assembling a new Guardians of the Galaxy team. The team consisted of its original members, but began gaining new additions such as Major Victory, Bug, Groot, Jack Flag, and Moondragon. Star-Lord also rejoined the team in order to stop a rising war between the Shi'ar and the Inhumans/Kree. Star-Lord, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, engaged in a long battle against him which ultimately resulted in the he resurrection of Thanos, and the death of some of the Guardians, including Star-Lord and Nova who sacrificed their lives to keep Thanos in the Cancerverse. The survivors hailed Peter and Nova as heroes and a statue was erected in their honor on Kree-Lar. (To learn about the above highlighted event, races, characters, and/or places, just click on their their names.)
More recently, it was revealed that Star-Lord had actually managed to escape from the Cancerverse and returned to the recreated Guardians of the Galaxy team. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the item, places, teams, and/or characters. Also, Star-Lord in his newest costume is shown in the fifth picture posted above.)

Weight

Gamora is said to be the most dangerous female assassin in the Milky Way galaxy. She is a highly accomplished athlete trained in gymnastics. Being a master of various martial arts forms throughout the universe, Gamora is an excellent hand-to-hand combat. She also is well versed in the use of weaponry of the galaxy, but prefers knives and swords. Gamora is also known as a master tactician and strategist both on and off the battlefield.
Other Info
Gamora was the only survivor of the peace-loving Zen-Whoberians that were exterminated by the zealous religious order known as the Universal Church of Truth. It was Thanos who discovered the infant Gamora in the future and brought her back in time two decades prior to her people's deaths. Thanos then raised Gamora and used advanced technology and bionics to endow her with enhanced abilities bringing her body to peak perfection. She was trained to become a highly skilled master of various martial arts forms from throughout the universe. In addition, Thanos altered Gamora's perceptions so she could not recognize the evil Thanos or she did. (To learn about the race, group, and/or character above, just click on their highlighted name.)
At one point, Thanos sent Gamora into the Universal Church of Truth to assassinate their leader: the Magus. Initially, she was stopped; however, Gamora soon after helped Adam Warlock against the Magus, which led to his defeat. (Click on the highlighted characters above to learn more about them.)
Soon after, Gamora learned of Thanos' true evil nature when she returned early from a mission to discover him plotting to destroy the universe as a sacrifice to Death. Horrified, she tried to kill Thanos; however, Thanos slew her instead. However, Adam Warlock found Gamora with one last spark of life remaining in her body and used his Soul Gem to absorb her consciousness to keep her alive inside of it. (To learn about the above highlighted character and/or object, just click on their names.)
Later, when Thanos gained the Infinity Gauntlet, Gamora was brought back to life and given a new body. When Thanos was defeated, Adam Warlock chose Gamora as a member of the Infinity Watch and gave her the responsibility to guard the Time Gem (one of the six Infinity Gems of the Infinity Gauntlet). The Time Gem granted Gamora precognitive dreams. Over time, however, Gamora resigned from the Infinity Watch. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the objects and/or team. Note: Beware of the very revealing outfits worn by some on the Infinity Watch's bio page.)
Gamora was later seen training the She-Hulk for her battle against the Champion of the Universe. She-Hulk lost the fight; however, was awarded a rematch when she pointed out that Champion was possibly using the Power Gem as an illegal weapon to boost his strength. While waiting for the rematch, Gamora convinced She-Hulk to train in her human form rather than as She-Hulk, so her human strength would be exponentially multiplied when she transformed into the She-Hulk. Gamora's insight paid off, as She-Hulk defeated the Champion with relative ease. (To learn about the above highlighted characters and/or object, just click on their names. Note: Beware of the revealing and skin-tight outfit worn by She-Hulk on her bio page.)
Much later, Gamora reappeared on the planet Godthab Omega. Here, Gamora had established herself as leader of a group of cosmic female warriors known as the "Graces." At one point, Ronan the Accuser arrived to Godthab Omega in search of Tana Nile whom he believed to be responsible for his being exiled from the Kree homeworld of Hala. It was Gamora who engaged in battle with Ronan. Gamora was more than able to stand her ground against Ronan, as she also brandished the Godslayer dagger. However, their battle had no winner as it was interrupted by the invasion of the Annihilation Wave. Both Gamora and Ronan ended up joining Nova and his United Front to fight against the Wave, where Gamora led covert missions against them. It was also during this time that Gamora became romantically involved with Nova. Eventually, Gamora's ex-Infinity Watch member, Drax the Destroyer, destroyed Thanos, which allowed the Silver Surfer to free Galactus--who unleashed his wrath on the Annihilation Wave. (To learn about the above highlighted places, teams, race, and/or characters, just click on their names above. Note: Beware of the very revealing outfit worn by one on the Graces and Tana Nile's bio pages.)
At one point, the Kree were invaded and cut off from the rest of the universe by the Phalanx, led by Ultron. Ultron used a form of the Technarchy transmode virus to infect/create a team of super-soldiers, known as the Phalanx Select--Gamora became one of them. However, with the help of the Technarch mutant Warlock and his ward Tyro, the Phalanx Select were cured. Now, being armed with the knowledge of how to beat the Phalanx and cure the virus, Gamora, Nova, Drax, Warlock, and Tyro breached the barrier surrounding the Kree and ultimately destroyed Ultron. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the races, characters, and/or team. Note: Beware of the very form-fitting outfit on Ultron's bio page.)
Soon after, wanting to do things for the greater good, Gamora agreed to join a proactive peacekeeping team known as the Guardians of the Galaxy led by Star-Lord. She served alongside others such as Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Drax. At first, she was not trusted due to her past; however, after risking her life to save the others during a mission, she was accepted as their teammate. Now, being armed with the knowledge of how to beat the Phalanx and cure the virus, Gamora, Nova, Drax, Warlock, and Tyro breached the barrier surrounding the Kree and ultimately destroyed Ultron. Later, at the end of the a war between he Shi'ar and the Inhumans/Kree, the Inhuman King of the Kree, Blackbolt, detonated the Terrigen-Bomb which punched a hole in space/time known as The Fault--a doorway to a universe analogous to our own where there is no death (aka the Cancerverse). The first creature to come through was a giant squid that instinctively attacked the Inhuman city of Attilan. Gamora, and the Guardians of the Galaxy, engaged in a long battle against him which ultimately resulted in the he resurrection of Thanos, and the death of some of the Guardians, including Star-Lord and Mantis. Afterward, the Guardians of the Galaxy were disbanded. (To learn about the above highlighted event, races, characters, and/or places, just click on their their names.)
More recently, Gamora was seen with a new recreated Guardians of the Galaxy team. The team learned that Thanos had managed to get a Cosmic Cube from the United States Army and used it to escape to Moord--the homeland of the Badoon.
