Powers
Deathlok is an advanced cyborg utilizing encephalonic read/write technology to link the human brain with a CPU. Deathlok’s brain is supported by organic lungs; which transport oxygen to his brain. The only other parts of the cyborg that are human are part of his skull and a modified human stomach. Deathlok’s sensitive stomach can only process simple nutrient formulas or pastes. His organic systems are supported by nanotech assemblers, which can repair damaged organics. The rest of the body is made up of synthetic parts. His skeleton is composed of unbreakable Adamantium, while his muscles and cartilage are a flexible steel/Adamantium alloy. His unique physical structure allows him to lift 85 tons with a theoretical limit of 150 tons; which is safeguarded by his computer preventing him from reaching his limit. Deathlok can run at speeds of 107 MPH on foot. The Cybernetic left eye is sensitive to a spectrum stretching above and below visible light, while his left cybernetic ear has directional capabilities. Deathlok’s CPU is housed within his torso, and rests next to the controlled fusion generator which powers him.

Abilities
Deathlok is an excellent computer programmer. Deathlok's on-board computer system contains the downloaded contents in excess of 17 Cray mainframe computers and can provide him with detailed information on a wide variety of subjects. Through his downloads, Deathlok has gained a broad knowledge of hand-to-hand combat techniques, as well as detailed knowledge in the use of conventional and technologically advanced firearms.

Other Info
Michael Collins had a great life with his loving family and job at Cybertek (a division of the Roxxon Corporation) as a computer programmer. One day, while going over his computer code which he thought was being used to help those in need control artificial limbs; however, Collins discovered that his work was actually going to be used for a killing machine project codenamed "Deathlok." After learning this, Michael went to his boss and friend, Harlan Ryker, and shared this information with him. However, Ryker was actually the one behind the Deathlok project, as well as many other projects for military uses. Therefore, Harlan betrayed Michael and shot him with a sedative. He then transplanted Collins' brain into the Deathlok cyborg. (To learn about the corporation and/or character highlighted above, just click on their names.)

When Michael awoke from the transfer, he was unable to control the functions of the cyborg. Unfortunately, he watched helplessly through his new cybernetic eyes as the machine carried out a test mission--killing some soldiers in the process. However, Collins was able to regain his consciousness during the mission and actually stopped the cyborg programming that would have killed a small child.

Although his brain was intended to serve only as a medium for the robot's programming, Michael was able to assert his will over it and installed a "no-killing parameter" into its programming. The computer within him was fully willing to listen to him, though he must take care to present his orders in a way that helps fulfill the mission and keep people from dying. In addition, the computer is fully capable of understanding distinct concepts, such as bluffing, as when Collins is forced to pretend to take a hostage.

Over time, Michael found that he could control the actions of the cyborg, and he immediately set out to pursue his old friend Ryker. Eventually, Deathlok caught Ryker in the middle of an illegal arm sale to a private army. However, before Collins turned Ryker over to the officials, Ryker told Collins that his human body still existed, and he could be restored if Michael could find the body and the doctor who performed the transfer. Therefore, Deathlok set out on a quest to find his body, and return to his perfect life with his family.

At one point, Collins encountered Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. and was enlisted to help them in preventing a nuclear strike on the United States. (To learn about Nick Fury and/or S.H.I.E.L.D., click on the highlighted names above. Note: Beware of the low-cut outfit worn by one on Nick Fury's bio page.)

Much later, Deathlok was seen on a new Battleworld. Deathlok helped other super-powered individuals such as Ant-Man, Wasp, Spider-Man, Venom (Mac Gargan), Hood, Gravity, and Firebird battle the Dragon Man, reveal the Stranger as the one behind them all being there, and ultimately in their escape. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the place and/or characters.)

More recently, Deathlok was present at the funeral for Gravity when the superhero's body was taken from the grave. Collins enlisted the help of the Fantastic Four, and he piloted the craft that led the team into a conflict with Galactus, Stardust, and Silver Surfer. He was also present when Gravity was resurrected. Afterward, Deathlok returned to Earth with the Fantastic Four and Gravity. (To learn about the team and/or characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

Deathlok's current whereabouts are unknown.

Powers
Donnie wore a battlesuit which contained cryogenic circuitry that allows the wearer to generate and focus intense cold. By manipulating this cold, Gill can create blasts of cold, ice missiles, and walls of ice from ambient moisture, as well as forming sleet, snow, and freezing rain. In addition, he would create slides of ice to travel. The battlesuit was fully insulated so that Gill was immune to the effects of his weaponry. However, following his mutation, Donnie is now capable of generating ice naturally through his body, to what extent is yet to be seen. He also has the ability to manipulate electrical currents, even to the point of overcharging them. Gill can also charge the energies within his body and disperse it enabling him to disable mechanical, or any other kind of electronic devices within a given radius.

Abilities
Donnie is an experienced street fighter and has some minor mechanical repair skills.

Other Info
Donald "Donnie" Gill was working for Hammer Industries until businessman Justin Hammer entrusted Donnie with a battlesuit reminiscent of the original Blizzard (Gregor Shapanka), because Gill was compliant and didn't question orders. Excited to use his battlesuit powers, "Blizzard" began his first assignment: to recapture the Force (an agent of Hammer who had betrayed him). Blizzard, Beetle (aka future MACH-IV), and Backlash (aka future Whiplash) engaged Force and his new ally, Iron Man. During the battle, Force saw that Donnie was being misled by Hammer as he once was; therefore, he tried to reach out to the young villain. However, in the end, Blizzard attacked Force which led to himself being electrocuted. As his allies fled, Blizzard was captured. (To learn about the above highlighted characters, just click on their names.)

Before he was taken to prison, Blizzard was rescued by the Rhino on behalf of Hammer, which boosted Gill’s loyalty to Hammer and curtailed Iron Man's efforts to lend Gill legal and moral guidance. Justin Hammer knew of Stark’s interest in helping Gill; therefore, he used Donnie as a bargaining chip to get Iron Man to help him take down their mutual enemy: the Ghost. Iron Man and agents of Hammer we able to stop the Ghost; however, the villains turned on Iron Man, abandoning Blizzard. Gill wanted to believe that Hammer would rescue him, but Iron Man played a recording of Hammer's bargaining. Crushed from Hammer's lies, Blizzard allowed himself to be taken into custody. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters.)

Later on, Blizzard was seen again engaged in criminal activities, with no interest in reforming. However, after a series of failures, Blizzard tried to be a part of a team again. He joined a mercenary group working on behalf of the Four Winds crime family. The group was hired to invade Agent X’s headquarters; however, they suffered a humiliating defeat. After this, Blizzard again joined a different team--one of the largest incarnation of the Masters of Evil. but their plans to hold the world ransom using a weather-controlling device were thwarted by the Thunderbolts. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the teams and/or character.)

When the Avengers disbanded, MACH-IV began re-form the Thunderbolts--a team of former superhuman villains who were attempting to reinvent themselves as a team of heroic champions. Blizzard was recruited as a founding member of the new team and earned a parole. The Thunderbolts even made their debut by saving Manhattan from the terrorist attacks of renegade Atlanteans. Blizzard actually doubted his effectiveness as a hero; however, he started to become more confident in the role even though his battlesuit was beginning to deteriorate. Unfortunately, after the team stopped Purple Man from controlling New York, the Thunderbolts had a re-shuffling of its members. Songbird became the leader, and she soon dismissed Blizzard from their ranks. (To learn about the race and/or character highlighted above, just click on their name.)

Soon after, in his demoralized state, Blizzard was recruited by fellow ex-Thunderbolts MACH-IV and Baron Zemo in creating a a new team to fight Songbird's Thunderbolts. In addition, Blizzard's battlesuit was redesigned and given an upgrade by the Fixer. With his new battlesuit, Blizzard and hist teammates battled the Thunderbolts and their teammate Photon. During the battle, they forced Photon to realize his unstable personality and powers would result in the destruction of the universe; therefore, Zemo killed him to save reality. Afterward, the two teams returned to Zemo’s headquarters, where he formed a new team of Thunderbolts under Songbird’s field leadership and his guidance. The team would later help against the U-Foes during the superhero Civil War. (To learn about the above highlighted characters, just click on their names. Also, Blizzard in his upgraded battlesuit is shown in the fifth picture posted above.)

Much later, Blizzard returned to his usual crimes of robbing banks along with Whirlwind, until they were both approached by Spymaster. He offered them both the opportunity to join a group of villains of Iron Man who planned to assault the almost-defenseless Stark Tower. They agreed; however, during a briefing, Donnie suddenly collapsed to the floor. When Blizzard regained consciousness, he had discovered that his skin had turned white and he could generate ice on his own now. (He had been exposed to the Terrigen Mists unleashed upon the face of the entire Earth by Black Bolt.) He unknowingly was an Inhuman descendant, and suffered "Terrigenesis," which caused the manifestation of his latent powers. Gill thought that this was the perfect opportunity to "be part of something bigger" and decided to leave Spymaster's team. However, as he and Whirlwind tried to leave, they were brutally attacked by Spymaster and Titanium Man and then forced them into taking part of the assault to Stark Tower. Once at Stark Tower, Spymaster used teleporter discs to teleport some of Iron Man's armor suits to his "buyers" and then escaped--leaving Blizzard and the rest of his accomplices behind. They were soon discovered by the heroes who used the tower as their base, but the villains managed to defeat the heroes. Titanium Man then offered the heroes to be taken to Spymaster to his spaceship. They agreed; however, when they arrived to a spaceship, Spymaster and Titanium Man ambushed them (it was then that was revealed that Titanium Man was actually Captain Atlas of the Kree--the buyer). Blizzard and the other villains managed to escape custody and started fighting Spymaster, Titanium Man, and the army of Iron Man armors (controlled by Spymaster). Iron Man soon arrived after traking his suits to the spaceship and helped Blizzard and his allies defeat their enemies. During the fight, Blizzard used his newly discovered powers of being "human battery" and overcharged the Iron Man armors and and deactivate them. Unfortunately, this led to Blizzard fainting and falling out the spaceship's cargo door. Luckily, a suit Iron Man was controlling rescued him. However, in order to let his friends escape, Blizzard had to freeze himself and the suit. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters, building, and/or race.)

Afterward, Blizzard was taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. He was left under the simulation that he was delivered to the Inhumans, in order to prove himself as the changed man Gill thought he was, until S.H.I.E.L.D. can figure out what to do with him. (To learn about S.H.I.E.L.D., just click on the highlighted name above.)

Powerful, expansive, and influential, the Roxxon Oil Company is a corporation like no other. In the past, Roxxon Oil was an unparalleled leader in the energy industry, both because of its clout but also its sterling reputation. Roxxon even diversified into high-tech research and development, aiding in the development of the S.H.I.E.L.D. intelligence agency. Unfortunately, in recent years the company has backed many suspect endeavors in its drive for political and economic power. Despite being implicated in these shady practices, Roxxon Oil executives and employees have skirted outright arrest and conviction. (To learn about S.H.I.E.L.D., click on the highlighted name above.)

Roxxon's current reputation and business practices largely began with Hugh Jones, its President, a corrupt and cutthroat businessman. The board under his direction was responsible for the death of Tony Stark's parents and the aquisition of the Brand Corporation. (The Brand Corp. became Roxxon's front for mutagenics and robotics research, spawning such villains as Orka, Manticore, Nemesis, Killer Shrike, Bushmaster, and Delphine Courtney.) Their development of battle suits researched the Cat's costume (leading to Hellcat's adoption of the costume) and created the Grasshopper. Hugh Jones was best known for falling victim to the Serpent Crown, which nearly allowed him to seize control of the U.S. capital, until the Avengers brought him down. (To learn about the above highlighted characters and/or teams, just click on their names.)

Most recently, Aleksander Lukin, president of the Kronos Corporation, used the Cosmic Cube to force Roxxon executives to sign over control of large portions of the company to him, including many of its power generating facilities; however, Roxxon still exists in its entirety as a corporate subsidiary. (To learn about the character and/or item above, just click on their highlighted names.)

The Roxxon logo appears many times in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Iron Man (background building during the last fight scene), Iron Man 2 (one of the cars at the Monaco Grand Prix is sponsored by Roxxon), a Marvel One-Short short film A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer (takes place at a Roxxon Gas Station in Nevada), Iron Man 3 (final battle takes place on an impounded Roxxon tanker that was responsible for an oil spill), and in the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode Repairs (a Roxxon gas station was blown up). (Three of the appearances of Roxxon is shown in the second picture posted above in the following order from the top to bottom: Iron Man, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
