Other Info
The Nova Corps was originally Xandar's space militia and exploration division. It consisted of 500 soldiers ranging in rank from Corpsman to Centurion, with its leader Nova Prime (Tanak Valt). They also had a regiment of Syfon Warriors. The Nova Corps have two priorities: defend the Xandarian civilization and protect the Xandarian living supercomputer known as the Worldmind. Though a small militia, each soldier was powered by the "Nova-Force" (a nearly limitless energy field generated by the Worldmind). The energy is then transmitted into the Nova Corps at varying levels depending on their rank. Thus, the Nova Corps became exceptionally powerful. The Nova Corps ranks from highest rank to the lowest rank are as follows: Nova Prime--Nova Centurion designated as "Prime" is the highest-ranking member of the Nova Corps. The Prime is endowed with a vast portion of the Nova-Force, and capable of great feats of energy manipulation and projection. Centurion--Top tier of the Nova Corps. They can lift approximately 20 tons. Denarian--Middle tier of the Nova Corps. They have access to 75% of the Nova-Force compared to the Centurions. They can lift approximately 15 tons. Millennian--They have 50% of the Nova-Force compared to the Centurions. They cannot fly, but they can pilot one-man sky flyers. Millennians can lift approximately 10 tons, have limited invulnerability. Corpsman--Entry level of the Nova Corps. Graduates from the Space Academy must apply to the Nova Corps upon graduation. They have access to 25% of the Nova-Force compared to the Centurions. They can lift approximately 5 tons. At one point, the Luphomians attacked Xandar. Even though the Nova Corps was empowered by the Nove-Force, it wasn't enough to save their world from destruction. (To lean about the Luphomians, click on the highlighted name above.)

Fortunately, all was not lost for the Nova Corps. Some domed cities survived the planet's destruction, and the Xandarians populated an asteroid field that then became known as the Xandar Cluster. After reforming under Queen Adora (who was guided by the Worldmind), the Nova Corps evolved into an intergalactic peace-keeping force, guarding the entire Andromeda Galaxy and Earth. Later, the Nova Corps were assembled to face off against Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave. The Corps fought valiantly to defend their world; however, the entire Nova Corps was destroyed and Xandar was laid to waste. Fortunately, one member of the Corps did survive--the Centurion known as Richard Rider. The Worldmind, which had also survived, guided Rider to itself. In order to save the Nova Corps, the Worldmind convinced Rider to let it uploaded itself to him to keep the Nova-Force and their people's history from being lost. Upon uploading, the entirety of the Nova-Force was given to Rider and he became the Nova Prime (aka Nova). Afterward, Nova led the United Front against the Annihilation Wave. Later on, during the Skrulls' Secret Invasion, the Worldmind had been quietly and methodically recruiting new Nova Centurions (Malik Tarcel, Qubit, Fraktur, Irani Rael and Morrow). Using Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. as a base of operations, Nova led the new Nova Corps in peace-keeping operations to stop the chaos left over from the Skrulls' attack. Nova was uncertain at first about reforming the Nova Corps so soon, but they worked together so well that his mind quickly changed. Soon after, however, things escalated out of Nova's control. Without consulting him, Worldmind began to mass recruit the people of Earth, resulting in the Nova Corps growing from a half dozen to hundreds within minutes. Among these new recruits was Nova's own younger brother, Robbie Rider. However, the most disturbing of all was when the Worldmind had his new recruits lobotomize Ego (the Living Planet) to established a new base for the Nova Corps--calling it "Nu-Xandar." Nova thought that Worldwind was out of control, but he found himself alone in this belief. In fact, when the Worldmind asked that he download the Nova-Force into Nu-Xandar, Nova hesitated. Claiming that the Nova-Force had taken its toll on Rider's sanity, the Worldmind ordered the Nova Corps to restrain Nova. The Worldmind then forcefully removed the Nova-Force from Rider; thus, stripping Rider of his powers and rank as Nova Prime, and banished him to Earth. Afterward, Malik Tarcel was promoted to the rank of Nova Prime in place of Rider. Soon after, however, Rider learned that the Worldmind was employing mind control to manipulate the Nova Corps. Later, when the War of Kings ignited between the Kree-led Inhumans and the Shi'ar, the Worldmind chose to immediately leave Earth to have the new and inexperienced Nova Corps members intervene in the galactic conflict. Unfortunately, the Corps had massive casualties and the new Nova Prime, Malik Tarcel, was captured by the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. However, it was Richard Rider who returned with the power of Quasar; thus, forcing the Worldmind to stand down. Rider retook his position as Nova Prime and called on the Nova Corps to retreat while they still could, saving whoever he could. Afterward, Nova had all of the newly recruited Centurions depowered and sent home. But, not all of the Centurions wanted to return home. Therefore, Robbie Rider, Morrow, Fraktur, Qubit, Irani Rael, Lindy Nolan, and Tre Owens elected to remain as Nova Centurions, serving as a much smaller Nova Corps. At the end of the war, the Inhuman King of the Kree, Blackbolt, detonated the Terrigen-Bomb which punched a hole in space/time known as The Fault--a doorway to a universe analogous to our own where there is no death (aka the Cancerverse). The spatial distortions around the Fault allowed the Nova Corps to discover a long lost Nova Corps starship, the Resolute Duty, along with its veteran Centurion, Zan Philo. The Resolute Duty became the new mobile headquarters of the Nova Corps and Zan Philo became the trainer of its probationary members.  (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters and/or places.)

More recently, when an invasion force from Cancerverse attacked, the Nova Corps was on hand to join the defense along with the Shi'ar, the Kree, and Blastaar's Negative Zone forces. It quickly became obvious that pushing the Cancerverse forces back through the Fault was going to be nearly impossible. Their only hope lied in a mission into the Cancerverse by the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thanos to kill the invaders at their home by reintroducing Death to that universe. The Nova Corps had to help hold the line until that happened. Nova ended up deputizing Quasar into the Nova Corps and ventured into the Cancerverse himself. The mission was a success, and the invasion fell apart with The Fault closing. However, Nova and Star-Lord stayed behind in the Cancerverse to ensure that Thanos would not return. Nova was presumed dead, and with him went the Worldmind and the Nova-Force; thus, leaving the Nova Corps no more once again. However, the survivors hailed Star-Lord and Nova as heroes and a statue was erected in their honor on Kree-Lar. Yondu is a natural mystic, like his entire tribe. Yondu possesses an intuitive "sixth sense" that permits him limited empathic relationships with other lifeforms. The higher the lifeforms the more limited is his empathic potential. His mystic rapport with nature, particularly with his own world, allows him to sense foreign bodies or substances. In addition, he is sensitive to mystical beings and of Centaurian races and is able to detect their presence and activities without effort. By going into a trance, Yondu is able to replenish his own inner strength by communing with natural forces.

Yondu has slightly more endurance than the average human, and is about 1.5 stronger than an average human, allowing him to lift 375 pounds.

For a short time, Yondu's right hand was replaced for a time by a bionic metal cup which could release from within itself a number of weapons, including a mace, hatchet, scythe, and barbed spear among others. However, his hand was later transformed into a duplicate of his original hand.

Abilities 
Yondu is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, and a highly skilled hunter and tracker. He is especially skilled in using a bow and arrow. Yondu often uses a 5-foot single curve bow and a quiver of arrows composed of Yaka (a special sound-sensitive metal found only on Centauri IV). A Yaka arrow can actually change its direction (but not speed) in response to certain high-octave whistle-sounds that some Centaurians can produce, which Yondu is skilled at controlling even to the point of weaving them through a crowd of people without touching them. In addition, Yondu has extensive knowledge of the social and religious customs of the natives of Centauri IV. He can also speak English, although it is painful for him to speak for too long without resting his throat. 

Other Info
In the future timeline of Earth-691, Yondu Udonta was born in the late 30th Century as a member of the Zatoan tribe--primitive beings native to Centauri IV. His homeworld was the first planet outside Earth's solar system to be colonized by humans. Intimidated by Earth's superior technology, most Centaurian tribes established peaceful relationships with the Earthling settlers. However, Yondu's tribe migrated from their ancestral forests to the less accessible plains to avoid contact with the outworlders. By 3006 A.D., Vance Astro arrived on Centauri IV by ship, using an antiquated mode of star travel. While performing his geophysical survey on the planet, Astro came across Yondu. Initially, Yondu tried to avoid contact with the outworlder; however, when the planet was attacked by the Badoon, the two began working together. Unfortunately, during the invasion, all the other Centaurians were believed to have been killed; thus, leaving Yondu the last of his people. Yondu and Astro attempted to escape in Astro's ship to get help; however, the Badoon captured them. The two were then taken as prisoners to the Badoon's base of operation on Earth (which had also been conquered by the Badoon by this time). Soon afterward, Yondu and Astro managed to escape and soon encountered two other fugitives of the Badoon invasion: Charlie-27 of the Jupiter colony, and Martinex of the Pluto colony. Banding together, they became known as Guardians of the Galaxy. For years, the Guardians attacked Badoon outposts throughout the solar system. As a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Yondu found himself teaming up with many heroes of Earth to defend the planet against the Badoon. At one point, the Guardians fought alongside a time-traveling Thing, Captain America, and Sharon Carter. Later, after the team time-traveled to the 20th Century and met the Defenders, the Guardians helped in repelling all the Badoon from Earth. After having secured the freedom of Earth's people, the Guardians decided to remain together to safeguard the entire galaxy. At one point, Yondu and the Guardians traveled to the 20th Century to team up with the Avengers to defeat Korvac and his Minions of Menace. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the teams and/or character.)

Later on, Yondu discovered the existence of a female Alpha Centaurian named Photon. While he viewed this as a miracle and a way to continue his race and traditions, she had long abandoned their ways and was a member of the cosmic mercenary group known as the Force. She claimed that she would rather die than continue their race. Emotionally devastated, Yondu soon found himself butting heads with his teammates until he decided to leave to find Photon on his own. This led to Yondu facing off against Photon, and almost killing her. However, one of Photon's teammates, Interface, transmuted Yondu's hand into mist. Afterward, Martinex offered to replace Yondu's hand (using their transmutative technology), but he refused. However, later on, his hand was replaced with a weapon capable of making knives, axes, and even a laser. Eventually, Yondu and Photon made peace with one another, even to the point that he gave her his Yaka bow and arrows--it appeared that he was finally able to get her to embrace her heritage. More recently, Yondu left the Guardians of the Galaxy and returned to his homeworld when it was revealed that a small group of Centaurians had actually survived the Badoon attacks. These cave-dwelling Centaurians had escaped death due to the walls of their caverns containing Yaka which blocked radio waves; therefore, shielding them from the Badoon's sensors. As to not scare his people, Yondu asked Martinex to replace his hand with a duplicate of his original. Now with a fully restored body, Yondu returned to his people and was received with open arms.

In the film, Guardians of the Galaxy, Yondu differs a bit from the comicbook version. In the movie, he is not a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, but is a leader of his own band of outlaws called the Ravagers. He does use an arrow that he can control by whistling (like the comics); however, he does not use a bow for it.

As a Kree, Korath has a superhuman strength, endurance, speed, and reflexes. Since being implanted with the Pursuer templates these have all been enhanced to an unrevealed degree.

Abilities 
Korath has been trained in ancient Kree martial arts; however, he is relatively inexperienced in armed and unarmed combatant. In addition, Korath is an expert in cyber-genetic engineering.

Korath wears an armored battle-suit and helmet composed of unknown alien materials. The armor also has the ability to psionically locate individuals by tracing their brain patterns. Also, the electrically powered turbines in his boots grants him the ability to fly.

Korath often carries two beta batons capable of firing strong energy blast capable of stunning opponents into unconsciousness on contact, or disrupting functions of electrical devices.

Korath-Thak was a brilliant cyber-geneticist who was one of the creators of the Pursuer Project to develop cybernetic warriors for the Kree militia (the project created an energy template that used whatever matter it touched to transform into an entity capable of pursuing and capturing its targets). The first use of the template was at the instigation of the Kree science council to bring the Inhumans of Earth to Hala to serve in their Kree army. The template was beamed to Earth; however, instead of hitting stones or metal as hoped, it hit and transformed into cockroaches. In this form, the Pursuer cockroaches had defeated the Inhumans Royal family until an insecticide was used and the templates were stopped. Years later, the Pursuer Project was shutdown by the Kree leaders Ael-Dann and Dar-Benn because they felt that their money was being wasted. Angered at their decision, Korath decided to turn the template on himself, transforming him into a new Pursuer. Thus, becoming known as "Korath the Pursuer." Soon after, Korath was summoned by the Supreme Intelligence in secret, along with Ultimus, Shatterax, Captain Att-Lass, and Doctor Minn-Erva, to create an elite Kree military unit known as "Starforce." Korath's first duty at a member of the Starforce was to capture the fugitive Avengers on Kree-Lar. He was able to easily track them down and neutralize a couple of them; however, he was eventually defeated by Captain America. Afterward, Korath was sent down again to defeat the Avengers, but his time he went with his Starforce team. The Supreme Intelligence actually had given the Starforce false intelligence that the Avengers were in league with a Shi'ar assassin who intended to kill Ael-Dan and Dar-Benn. The Starforce succeeded in intercepting the Avengers. Unknown to them, the battle between the two teams created a distraction that allowed Deathbird to breach security and kill both Ael-Dan and Dar-Benn. As this was the Supreme Intelligence's plan all along, he retook leadership of the Kree. Then in retaliation, the Supreme Intelligence sent the Starforce o assassinate the Majestrix of the Shi'ar: Lilandra. However, they were stopped by the Avengers and the Shi'ar Imperial Guard. Soon after, the Nega-bomb decimated the Kree on Hala and the Shi'ar moved in and began to rule over the Kree. Korath, and the rest of the Starforce, we released from prison and forced to serve the Shi'ar led by Deathbird. At one point, the Supreme Intelligence was able to regain control of the Kree Empire from the Shi'ar. However, Korath and and many other Kree were considered defectors and were exiled. Therefore, Korath, and many of the other exiled Kree, left and were able to find refuge on the world of Godthab Omega. While there, they lived in peace, but kept up with current events of the Kree Empire through sympathizers on various Kree hub worlds. Later on, the newly exiled Kree, Ronan the Accuser (also a former member of the Starforce), found his way to Godthab Omega in search of Tana Nile. Upon his arrival, Korath informed Ronan that Tana Nile was last seen with Gamora as one of her Graces. This led to Ronan battling with Gamora who was defending Tana Nile. More recently, the Kree were invaded and cut off from the rest of the universe by the Phalanx, led by Ultron. Ultron used a form of the Technarchy transmode virus to infect/create a team of super-soldiers, known as the Phalanx Select--Korath became one of them. As their super-soldiers, Korath was sent out with Shatterax and Xemnu on a mission to capture Adam Warlock. However, they failed to capture him due to the interference of Phyla-Vell and Moondragon. After returning back to Hala, Korath was destroyed by Ultron, in front of Shatterax and Xemnu, for his failure. Nebula posses superhuman strength. Her muscular tissues are stronger than human flesh; thus, resulting in more durability.

Abilities 
Nebula is highly skilled in military strategy, space warfare, leadership, astro-navigation, and the operation of various high-tech devices of alien origin. She is athletic and skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Nebula often uses wrist blasters that fire concussive blasts of unknown energy, or heat blasts that can incinerate a human being. Also, she wears a device that enables her to disguise her appearance.

Other Info 
Nebula was known and feared across numerous star systems as a brutal and ruthless pirate. Little is known about her life before she set her sights on hijacking the Sanctuary II--a massive spaceship station previously under the command of Thanos. Nebula and her small band of mercenaries infiltrated the Sanctuary II and repaired its hyper-drive engines to allow them to teleport the station out of the solar system. It was during this time that the Avengers sent Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau) to investigate the craft. Therefore, when Nebula's crew warped the satellite out of the solar system, Captain Marvel was teleported with them. Soon after, Nebula discovered Captain Marvel on board, and asked her to join her band of mercenaries and help them in conquering the Skrull Empire. Not knowing how to return home, Captain Marvel pretended to go along with Nebula's scheme; however, she actually helped the Skrulls evacuate the outpost world that Nebula was planning on destroying. Trying to locate their missing member, the Avengers ended up allying themselves with the Skrulls to oppose Nebula. But, before the Avengers were able to stop Nebula, she annihilated both the Skrull outpost and the planet Xandar. In the ensuing battle, the Avengers’ Starfox--brother of Thanos--learned that Nebula claimed to be Thanos' granddaughter--thus his great-niece. However, before Starfox could learn more, Nebula was teleported away by the Beyonder, who had misunderstood the they wanted Nebula cast out of the Andromeda Galaxy. Later, a newly resurrected Thanos used the Infinity Gems to create the Infinity Gauntlet which gave him omnipotent power. Thanos scoffed at Nebula's claims to be his granddaughter and, as a gift to Death, he burned and transformed Nebula into a grotesque disfigured virtual corpse that was unable to die, but was not truly alive. However, when Thanos defeated Eternity and took his place, he expanded his consciousness into the universe, leaving his body comatose. Noticing her opportunity for freedom, Nebula stole the Infinity Gauntlet for herself and used its powers to restore herself to health and banish Thanos. Soon after, Thanos agreed to help a loose band of heroes defeat Nebula. (The group consisted of Doctor Strange, Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, Thor (Eric Masterson), Hulk, Firelord, Doctor Doom, and Drax the Destroyer— the only heroes that Strange was able to locate in the limited time he had available.) The group confronted Nebula and she was tricked by Thanos to use the Infinity Gauntlet to transform the universe back to the way it was twenty four hours ago. Therefore, all of Thanos' death and destruction was undone. Now, she had to face an entourage of cosmic beings that included Galactus, Master Order, and Lord Chaos. During the battle, Nebula was able to turn the cosmic beings into stone. However, she lost the gauntlet when Adam Warlock (the original owner of the Soul Gem) reached out from Soulworld and separated the Infinity Gauntlet from Nebula and gained it temporarily for himself. At one point, Nebula's former second-in-command, Geatar, freed Nebula from her cell on Titan. Upon arriving though, he found her in a catatonic state. After their escape, he took her to someone he believed would help her: Doctor Mandibus. The doctor revived Nebula by rebuilding her brain and converting her into a cyborg with an artificial left eye, left arm, and left shoulder. In addition, the left upper quarter of her head and part of her right hip are sheathed in metal. (To learn about the highlighted characters above, just click on their names. After regaining consciousness, Nebula wanted to get her crew back. Therefore, she and Geatar traveled to the prison planet known as the "Anvil." They tricked the Chancellor of the prison into believing that Geatar was turning Nebula over as a prisoner. The Silver Surfer showed up to interfere with their plans, but backed down when they threaten to kill the Chancellor. They were then taken to Nebula's crew. Then, as they were about to board the largest ship and escape, they are surprised by the Jack of Hearts. Nebula and her crew were no match of the comibined might of the Silver Surfer and the Jack of Hearts. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the place and/or character.) 

Later on, Nebula and her crew went to the planet of the enigmatic alien Stranger and stole his Infinity Union (a combination of three devices that together could channel all forms of ambient energy into her). However, Nebula was defeated and captured by the Avengers and Spider-Man. But when an enraged Stranger burst in, searching for the Infinity Union, the Avengers feared that no one was worthy of wielding such a dangerous device; therefore, the Avengers decided to track down the Infinity Union themselves. It was Spider-Man who found the device first, who accidentally set it off. Thus, Nebula absorbed the power of the Infinity Union and became a supreme being. However, the Avengers and the Stranger managed to stop Nebula regardless, stripping her of the Infinity Union's power. Nebula did, however, manage to escape capture. More Recently, Nebula was seen on the world Godthab Omega as part of a team of female cosmic warriors known as the Graces, led by Gamora. When Annihilus and his Annihilation Wave attacked, Nebula was last seen fighting side-by-side with the other Graces against the Wave. It is unknown if Nebula survived the attacks or not. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the place, teams, and/or characters.
