Powers 
Karma is a mutant with the ability to take possession of the minds of other people or animals. She projects a psionic energy surge that overwhelms the consciousness of another; this renders the victim unconscious while placing her own mind in command. It allows her to alter the victim's perceptions and memories, command people to fall asleep or divulge information, and operate their bodies as if they were an extension of her own. Formerly when Karma first took possession of someone, she could only move her subject's body awkwardly until she acclimated herself to her new host. If she remained in possession of a host for too long she would begin to think and act as her host would, and eventually her own personality would become subordinate to one identical to the host's. Although Karma can possess multiple subjects simultaneously, her control over her subjects is fragmented as she shifts her attention from one to another. Karma had also begun developing other telepathic abilities that were either latent or triggered by her possession by the Shadow King. By possessing others remotely, she can mentally "see" through their eyes. She is also able to use her power to disrupt other psi-signatures, protecting her from all manner of psychic assault.

Karma is also a capable combatant with medieval weapons (particularly swords). She is also familiar with first aid and firearms owing to her time in Vietnam. She also speaks French.

Other Info
Xi'an Coy Manh is the daughter of a colonel in the Vietnamese army. Xi'an had a twin brother, Tran Coy Manh, and two younger siblings, Leong and Nga. While still a child, Xi'an saw an enemy soldier threaten Tran. Not realizing she had a superhuman power, Xi'an nevertheless, acting impulsively, took possession of the soldier's mind and stopped him from killing Tran. Tran then successfully attempted the same feat and forced the soldier to kill himself. While Tran took great delight in this use of his new-found power, Xi'an was frightened of her power. Xi'an kept her and her brother's powers a secret; however, Tran told their uncle, General Nguyen Coy in the Vietnamese army. (To learn about General Coy, click on his highlighted name above.)

Later, General Coy arranged for Xi'an's family to leave Vietnam, but only Tran was sent abroad. Eventually, the rest of the family left Vietnam on a small, crowded boat. Xi'an's father and mother were killed by attacking pirates. Luckily, the children were rescued by the United States Navy. After this, Xi'an, Leong, and Nga were sent to the United States to be reunited with her Uncle Nguyen Coy and Tran. General Coy had become a powerful and prosperous criminal in the United States (although he was publicly known as a businessman), and Tran was using his powers in his uncle's employ. When Coy asked Xi'an to use her powers in his service, she refused. Xi'an sought help from a Catholic priest, Father Michael Bowen, whom she had known in Vietnam. With Father Bowen's aid, Xi'an secured employment and an apartment and enrolled her younger siblings in school.

Soon after, General Coy kidnapped Leong and Nga, in an effort to blackmail Xi'an into working for him. Desperate, Xi'an located Spider-Man (whom she believed to be a criminal from accounts in the New York Daily Bugle newspaper) and took possession of his mind, so she could use his powers to rescue the children. While possessing Spider-Man, she used him to fight three members of the Fantastic Four, who were present at a party Coy was hosting (unaware that he was a criminal). However, Xi'an was forced to release Spider-Man's mind without having freed the children. But, Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four located Xi'an and Father Bowen, learned her story, and agreed to help her. Unfortunately, Tran used his powers to take control of the Fantastic Four and have them attack Spider-Man. In order to save Spider-Man, whom she now realized wasn't a criminal, Xi'an was forced to kill Tran by absorbing his life essence into herself. Xi'an was then reunited with Leong and Nga. Afterwards, Xi'an (who now called herself "Karma" when using her powers) was recommended by Mister Fantastic and accepted the invitation of Professor Charles Xavier to enroll in his school, Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. After joining, Karma became the first leader of the new team of young superhuman mutants Professor X was training: the New Mutants. At one point, Professor X and Dani Moonstar (Mirage) was kidnapped by Silver Samurai and Viper. Therefore, Karma agreed to one year’s service to her uncle in exchange for their whereabouts. For a time, Karma was thought to be missing or dead; however, she had fallen under the control of the Shadow King. He used Karma’s body to carve a criminal empire. Eventually, the New Mutants learned that Karma was actually alive, and they went to rescue her. After the help of Mirage, Warlock, and Magik, Karma was finally released of the Shadow King. She then began fighting a psyhic battle with the Shadow King and won--forcing him to flee back to the Astral Plane. (Click on the highlighted names above learn about the different characters.)

Later on, during the Mutant Massacre of the Morlocks by the Marauders, the New Mutants were charged with aiding the wounded. Afterwards, Karma asked Magik to teleport her to check on her younger brother and sister, only to discover they had disappeared. A bomb rigged to their apartment’s light switch destroyed all possible clues to their whereabouts. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the event and/or teams above. While searching for her siblings for some time, Karma attended a Hellfire Club event and possessed Tessa to look for her siblings in the Club's database. Unfortunately, she didn't find any information; however, she was caught by Sebastian Shaw. While there, Karma declined in helping the New Mutants in their contest against the Hellions (to find who sold a forged statue of Selene to a member of the Hellfire Club before sunrise) stating that she had too many things on her mind. While the team was gone, Karma left a letter for Moonstar, co-leader of the New Mutants, stating that she was leaving the team to work for her uncle and search for her siblings. For a time, Karma worked for General Coy in Madripoor, in the hope that he could locate her brother and sister. While working for her uncle, Karma encountered "Patch" (Wolverine in disguise). Patch told her that he was attempting to stop General Coy from over-throwing the current crimelord of Madripoor, Tyger Tiger. Karma decided to assist Patch by taking control of Roughbouse and Bloodsport to allow Patch and Tyger to escape a beating. Soon after, Patch decided to save Karma from her uncle's service, but was sidetracked when he learned that disrupting General Coy's drug activities planted a target on the General's head and Karma needed him to help her find her missing brother and sister. Meanwhile, Leong and Nga were the prisoners of Shinobi Shaw, who made them the subjects of genetic experiments. He then turned them over to Karma's longtime foe, Viper, and the extra-dimensional being Spiral. Eventually, Karma and the X-Man Beast were able to track them down and rescue the two children; however, Beast was unable to undo Spiral's genetic tinkering. Much later, Karma moved to Chicago with Leong and Nga and took a job as a librarian for the University of Chicago while attending classes. One day, she ran into Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde) and assisted her in her mission against the Purity. Soon after, Moonstar arrived in an attempt to recruit David Alleyne (aka Prodigy) for the Xavier Institute. Karma introduced the two, and headed back to the relative safety of the Institute along with her siblings. It was around this time that Karma publicly came out as a lesbian. She had tried to speak to Kitty about her feelings for her, but stopped when she felt that Kitty would not reciprocate her feelings. Once at the Xavier Institute, Karma took on lots of responsibility. She was the school's librarian, French teacher, and adviser for students too young to be assigned to a squad. However, after Northstar was believed to be dead and Wolfsbane left the Institute, Karma also took on the role as supervisor to both of their squads (Alpha Squadron and Paragons Squad). After the events of M-Day, Karma was one of 198 that retained their powers. The school's population was drastically reduced and the squad system was abolished. Later on, after the return of the Hope Summers and Cable to the mainstream timeline, Cyclops ordered the New Mutants to attack one of Cameron Hodge's Right facilities. During the battle, Karma attempted to take psionic control of Hodge, but he proved immune to her powers and impaled her through the leg with his metal projectiles. Hodge was eventually defeated, but as a result of her injuries, Karma's left leg was amputated above the knee. During the events of the X-Men Schism between Cyclops and Wolverine, Karma chose to go back to Westchester with Wolverine. She's currently a Junior Staff Member at the school. (To learn more about the Schism, click on the highlighted name above.)

More recently, Karma joined up with some X-Men who found themselves under attack by the Marauders (who are controlled by Susan Hatchi). After seizing control of Karma, it was revealed that Hatchi also had ulterior personal reasons for targeting the mutant. Born Da'o Coy Manh, Hatchi was the illegitimate half-sister of Karma. In a later confrontation with the X-Men, Hatchi uses her nanotechnology to seize control of the team and ordered them to takeover Madripoor or she would use her technology on New York and kill the population. (She wanted to not only demonstrate the effectiveness of her weapon but to draw out their father from hiding by publicly using Karma as bait.) Hatchi was able to find her father in Madripoor; however, the X-Men were able to counteract her technology. Karma then used her own mutant abilities to forge a psychic link with her half-sister to show her the struggles she's had in her own life, despite the fact that their father acknowledged her. While the two sisters reached reconciliation, their father took advantage of the situation and shot Hatchi. 

After Hatchi's death, Karma inherited her company as the only eligible relative of age and effectively became a billionaire.

Fantastic Four Reboot Poll

It has been rumored that a Fantastic Four movie reboot is in the works by 20th Century Fox (who currently holds the rights to the characters). The film is said to be released in early 2015.

Strong Guy possesses superhuman strength which he can increase by absorbing kinetic energy and use it to enhance his physical strength to an unmeasured limit. However, he cannot store the energy he absorbs for very long; as a rule he must physically expend the energy within 90 seconds to prevent it from permanently distorting his body. He is in constant pain from the existing distortion, although he hides it well, traditionally playing the role of team comedian to distract himself. Guido also possesses superhuman stamina and durability.

Abilities 
Strong Guy is formidable at street fighting-style hand-to-hand combat. He also has a gifted intellect, and is a talented musical comedy actor and stand-up comedian. Strong Guy is nearsighted and wears corrective "bottle-cap" lenses.
 
Other Info
Early in Guido Carosella's life, he was tormented and bullied by others. However, that all changed the day he discovered his mutant power. While trying to get away from some bullies, Guido was struck by a school bus and absorbed the energy. Because he did not release the energy immediately, his body swelled and the growing muscles became disproportionate. Although Guido was no longer bullied by his peers, the gentle giant was still perceived as being different and separated from them. Guido coped with his pain, both the emotional and physical pain generated by his transformed body, by developing an outgoing "public face," rarely letting even those close to him see him in any discomfort.

Later on, Guido's parents were killed in freak accident when a satellite fell on the both of them. Luckily, he had the love and support of his Aunt Lois and Uncle Lou, who took him in after his parents' died. Guido did, however, settle out of court with the owners of the satellite for a vast amount of money. For some time, he lived a life of luxury until his finances were wiped out by bad investments. Therefore, to make ends meet, he ended up taking a job as a bodyguard for the intergalactic thief and rock star, Lila Cheney. He fulfilled this role for a long time until Lila Cheney left Earth. After some time, the Shadow King took control of many of the world's most prominent heroes--Guido was among them. After fighting some members of the X-Men, Guido regained control of his own mind and then aided the X-Men and X-Factor in defeating the Shadow King for good. Later on, Guido was recruited by the U.S. government to become a member of the new incarnation of X-Factor. At a press conference, he dubbed himself "Strong Guy" and soon became a media darling. As Strong Guy, Guido served in X-Factor for many months. During this time, he developed a strong bond with fellow teammate Jamie Madrox (aka Multiple Man)--they both shared the same sense of humor. Unfortunately, during one battle against aliens who were after Lila Cheney, Strong Guy threw his body on a bomb, absorbing the blast at the cost of overexerting his mutant powers. Due to the blast, his body grew to such a point that he suffered a massive heart attack. This left him comatose, and Strong Guy spent several months in recuperation. Eventually, he recovered; however, X-Factor by then had dissolved its government ties, and Strong Guy retired from full-time crime-fighting. Sometime later, Strong Guy was seen in Tokyo as part of the underground mutant fighting league known as the "Arena"--however, the mutant fighters in the Arena were secretly slaves. Luckily, Strong Guy met up with Storm and helped take down their enslavers. (Click on the characters' highlighted names above to learn more about them. After moving to New York City, Strong Guy became a member of the newest incarnation of the X-Factor team, which operated as a detective agency called X-Factor Investigations. Strong Guy is a formidable fighter and has gone against other "strong guys" as well. At one point, he held his own against the Blob, and even moved him. Also, during World War Hulk, he went toe-to-toe with the Hulk. However, when he absorbed the energy from one of the Hulk's punches, it almost overloaded him immediately. Later, while on a job to protect J. Jonah Jameson from assassination, Strong Guy was shot in the heart. His teammate M took him to the hospital, during which he told her he was in love with her. Unfortunately, Strong Guy died in the hospital, leaving behind many traumatized friends. (Click the highlighted names above to learn about the characters. More recently, however, Strong Guy appeared completely healthy once again, without any knowledge of how it happened. But, it was soon revealed that he was revived by Layla Miller. As a result of this revival, however, he no longer had a soul. Although Strong Guy stayed with the team at first, he became increasingly angered by his teammates. It finally came to a heat when his date with M (whom finally acknowledged her feelings towards him too) went wrong. Then, during one operation, Strong Guy told his teammates that they should stay out of his way and he left the team with no trace to where he went. Born of Dorothy and Burt Carlysle, Vanessa Carlysle learned that she was a metamorph (a shape-shifter). After her parents found out that she was a mutant, she was kicked out of the house. This lead to Vanessa falling into a life of prostitution in Boston. It was then, when she eventually met and fell in love with mercenary Wade Wilson (aka future Deadpool). Carlysle was soon saved from Wilson’s vengeful employers by Zoe Culloden (a time-traveling agent of Landau, Luckman & Lake who had journeyed into the past to prevent Wilson’s eventual self-destruction that lead to him becoming Deadpool). However, when Vanessa returned home, Wilson breaks up with her because he has cancer and he doesn't want to subject her to the pain of watching him die. She pleads with Wade to reconsider, but Wade refuses and Vanessa is left heartbroken. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters and/or company.)

Soon afterward, Copycat became a mercenary herself. She soon was employed by arms dealer Tolliver, who had her impersonate the mercenary Domino to spy on Cable and to bomb X-Force’s headquarters. To do so, she joined Cable’s new X-Force strike team as "Domino." However, Copycat (as Domino) becomes a motherly figure to the New Mutants. And after various situations (fighting Proteus, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and seeing Cannonball "resurrected"), Copycat started to think of the X-Force as her friends and is not able to go through with the plan to kill Cable. Due to this, Tolliver dispatched Deadpool to force her to bomb the team. Instead, X-Force learns some truth; they learn about the bomb plan but they still think Copycat is Domino. Cable allows the base to be blown up so that Tolliver will think X-Force is gone. This lets Cable take the fight to Tolliver with Copycat (as Domino) in tow without Tolliver guessing the plan. However, at Tolliver's, Cable discovers the real Domino has been a prisoner all along still without realizing that the Domino he had been recently working with was Copycat. While Cable is distracted with freeing Domino and chasing Tolliver, Copycat slipped away. (To learn about the above highlighted characters and/or teams, just click on their names. After this, Copycat went into hiding. Eventually, she was found by Deadpool and Sluggo who were about to kill her when Domino showed up with Hammer and Grizzly. They handily take out the two mercenaries and recruit Copycat to help them find Cable's X-Force. Despite Domino constantly threatening to kill her, Copycat is honest in leading the trio to X-Force. However, upon finding Cable and the X-Force, Copycat slipped away and escaped again. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the characters.)

Later, Copycat became involved in the hunt for Tolliver’s will, during which she was wounded by Slayback. Her injuries would have proved fatal, but she survived by copying Deadpool's healing factor. (To learn about Slayback, click on his name above.)

Afterward, Copycat sought to live a peaceful life in San Francisco with Garrison Kane, but she soon encountered Deadpool, Cable, and Domino again. But, they were all captured by Psycho-Man and transported to the Microverse (he sought Kane’s advanced technology). She was eventually rescued by Kane, Cable, Domino and the Microverse’s resident heroes, the Microns. Then upon returning to Earth, Copycat and Domino finally made peace. Later on, Copycat went on to join the subversive Weapon X project alongside Kane. She was sent to recruit Deadpool into the program; however, the power enhancement by Weapon X began to affect her memory, and she lost track of her mission. Her powers also began to fluctuate to the point where she couldn't even hold her own form. Deadpool was subsequently recruited by the Weapon X Project to eliminate Copycat, but he refused and tried to escape with her. Due to this, Weapon X sent Kane to kill both of them. Deadpool fought Kane on his own, while he left Copycat in a safe place. However, it would appear that Kane had been a diversion to keep him away while they sent their top killer to deal with Copycat: Sabretooth. Deadpool frantically attempted to give Copycat his healing factor, but she was unable to hold onto life long enough to copy his power. Synch could duplicate the powers and abilities of nearby mutants (and perhaps other super-humans) by synchronizing his aura with theirs. When using his powers, a multi-colored aura appeared around his body as a result of the energies he absorbed splitting the ambient light around him. Synch was also able to track other mutants by allowing his aura to lock on to bio-signatures. His aura would then extend in the general direction in which the mutant was located. The powers and abilities Synch duplicated faded some time after the superhuman he was in synch with left his vicinity. It had been theorized that, with practice, Synch would have been able to permanently retain powers and abilities he acquired in this manner.

Everett Thomas grew up as a straight-A student in St. Louis, Missouri. Everett didn't realize, but he possessed an aura which allowed him to synch up with other superhumans in his immediate vicinity, thereby briefly gaining any powers they possessed.

At one point, Thomas was kidnapped by the techno-organic alien race the Phalanx who had assimilated the X-Men and attempted to wipe out what was to be the next generation of mutant heroes: Husk, Jubilee, M, and Blink. Synch had accidentally synched to Banshee, who was in the area, and had shattered all the windows in his area with Banshee's "borrowed" scream. He didn't know how he did it, but the next thing he knew there was a slew of police officers with guns pointed at him. Luckily, he was saved thanks to the help of the X-Men. After their rescue, Thomas and the other youths were all relocated to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in the re-opened Massachusetts Academy branch). Here they were trained to use their powers, received a formal education, and acted as the next generation of X-Men, Generation X. Thomas was codenamed "Synch" as a result of his mutant ability. While at the Academy, Synch quickly became popular with his teammates, and formed particularly close bonds to Jubilee and Skin. Eager to learn more about his powers, he spent his time at the Academy pushing himself as far as he could go. One day, the team was attacked by the energy vampire known as Emplate, who transformed Synch into a creature like him--forced to feed on the bone marrow of mutants for survival. Emplate sent Synch to his home in St. Louis, where he attempted to turn his family into creatures like himself and Emplate. However, due to a combination of his own reluctance to bring harm to people he loved, and the assistance of his teammates who came to help him, Synch was ultimately able to fight off Emplate’s influence. After this, Synch began a relationship with his team-mate M. He became one of the few people she would open up to.

Later on, Adrienne Frost stirred up mutant hatred amongst the human students in the school. When the parents of the non-mutant students heard that their children were going to school with mutants, they all arrived together to take their children away from the Academy, causing a riot. However, Adrienne Frost had also planted bombs all around the school. Upon learning this, Banshee and Synch set out to turn off and deactivate bombs. Upon finding a bomb that was near human students, Everett "synched" with the nearest mutant, M. However, M was too far away, so he only received a portion of her powers--her super strength. Using all his might, he threw the human kids out of the room, saving them from the explosion. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to save himself; thus, sacrificing himself to save his human peers. Recently, Synch was revived with an alien techno organic virus to serve as part of Selene's army of deceased mutants. Under the control of Selene and Eli Bard, he takes part in the assault on the mutant nation of Utopia. Synch's fate is uncertain as it is unknown whether he was among the mutants teleported to Genosha by Blink to serve as a sacrifice to the newly-godlike Selene or whether he was among the mutants that managed to escape Utopia. Powers 
As the result of mutation through infection with a genetic virus by mutant pteranodons, Lykos gained the ability to absorb the life forces of other living things into his body. When Lykos absorbs the energies of superhuman mutants, he transforms into Sauron, and gains a portion of that mutant's powers temporarily. Sauron has a wingspread of twelve feet, a lethal beak, and razor-sharp claws on his hands and feet. In Sauron form, Lykos has superhuman strength (able to lift approximately ten tons), durability, and is capable of flight. Lykos also has a powerful hypnotic ability that requires direct eye contact to complete. He frequently uses his hypnotic power to give his victims terrifying delusions that allies have become monsters. Due to manipulation by the Weapon X program, Sauron can expel the life force energy in concussive bursts from his hands. At some point, he also acquired an additional ability to breathe fire.

Other Info 
As a young boy, Karl Lykos went with his father on an expedition to Tierra del Fuego near the Antarctic Circle. Along with them on the journey were a physician, Dr. Anderssen, and his daughter Tanya, who was about the same age as Karl. At one point, Tanya became lost. Eventually, Karl found her in a cave being attacked by gigantic pteranodons, a form of flying reptile from the age of dinosaurs. (In actuality, these pteranodons were from the Savage Land). Karl drove the pteranodons off with his walking stick, but not before he was severely bitten. Traumatized by their experience, neither Karl nor Tanya remembered the pteranodons, and Dr. Anderssen used his medical skills to save Karl's life. Grateful to Karl for saving Tanya's life, Dr. Anderssen allowed Karl to live with him and Tanya after Karl's father died.  (To learn about the Savage Land, click on the highlighted name above.)

In a way that has never been explained, the pteranodon bites infected him with a genetic virus that forced upon him the need to drain the life energy of others to survive. His first unintentional victim was his dog Jager, whom he drained of energy simply by touching him. Karl kept his condition a secret, even after he found himself forced to drain energy from other human beings. However, he killed none of them, merely leaving them temporarily weakened. 

As Karl grew older he fell in love with Tanya, but the stern Dr. Anderssen refused to let her marry Karl because of his lack of financial means. So Karl Lykos set off for medical school, vowing to become wealthy so he could marry Tanya. Eventually, Lykos became a hypnotherapist, and constructed a device to help drain his patients’ energies.

Later on, after a tragic event, the X-Men brought Havok to Dr. Lykos. After treating Havok's wounds, Lykos began using his device to drain life energy from him. However, this was the first time that Lykos had ever siphoned energy from a superhuman mutant. This resulted in a metamorphosis into a creature that resembled a half-humanoid pteranodon, who retained his human intelligence and ability to speak. However, the transformation distorted Lykos' personality, turning him evil. (He took on the name, Sauron after the character in the Lord of the Rings). He battled the X-Men, but soon began reverting back to Lykos and fled. (To learn about the above highlighted team and/or character, just click on their names.)

Soon afterwards, Lykos had an argument with Dr. Anderssen, who still refused to permit him to marry Tanya. Then Lykos drained the energy from the mutant Lorna Dane (aka future Polaris) and turned into Sauron again. Sauron then returned to the Anderssons' home to kill them; however, the Anderssens recognized Sauron's voice as that of Lykos just before the X-Men arrived and Sauron fled. Sauron flew all the way to his father's cabin in Tierra del Fuego, and then reverted to human form. Horrified at having tried to kill Tanya, Lykos decided to starve himself to death. But several days later, Tanya arrived, followed closely behind by the X-Men. Feeling the urge to drain Tanya's life energies, Lykos instead fled, only to fall over a precipice. Tanya and the X-Men assumed he had been killed.

However, Lykos somehow survived and made his way to the Savage Land where he once again fought the X-Men as Sauron. There he managed to remain in human form, draining energy from animals, until many months later the X-Men arrived. For a time, as Lykos, he proved an ally to both the X-Men and Ka-Zar. Ultimately reverting to his Sauron form, he usurped the leadership of the Savage Land Mutates and opposed Ka-Zar, Spider-Man, and the X-Men.  (Click on the names above to learn about the highlighted characters and/or team.)

Sauron continued to make repeated attempts to conquer the Savage Land and use its people for sustenance, but has been defeated every time. After one defeat by the X-Men, their member, the Beast, managed to create a medicine that would satiate Karl's hunger, and, with the threat of Sauron seemingly over, Karl resumed a normal life with Tanya. Years later, Lykos and Tanya were captured by the Toad who was seeking recruits for a new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The Toad used a device of his own design to force Lykos to drain the life energy of Tanya, transforming Lykos into Sauron. As Sauron, he joined the Brotherhood in opposing first X-Force and then X-Factor.  (To learn about the character and/or teams above, just click on their highlighted names.)

After the Brotherhood disbanded, Sauron returned to the Savage Land and, with the Mutates, opposed the X-Men's Wolverine, Rogue, and Jubilee. However, he was later able to capture Cyclops and Havok and drained their energies. This caused him to mutate even further. Soon after, Jean Grey engaged Sauron telepathically, allowing Lykos’ personality to force his alter ego’s psyche in making a suicide leap into the abyss of his own mind, thus reducing Sauron’s physical form to a pure, animal-like state. Sauron’s suppressed persona eventually returned and he was subsequently recruited into the new Weapon X Project as a field agent. Sauron served the program for many months, until Agent Brent Jackson (who was hoping to form a group to stage a coup with the Director--leader of the Weapon X). After a sucessful coup, Sauron continued to serve the Weapon X program under Agent Jackson. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn about the program and/or characters above. However, after the Project was torn apart by internal feuding he was incarcerated in the maximum security superhuman prison the Raft. But, the Mutates engineered a breakout of the Raft’s other inmates as a cover for Sauron’s escape, and he returned to the Savage Land. (To learn about the Raft, click on the highlighted name above.)

Upon arrival, Sauron and the Mutates became involved with a rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. faction illegally stockpiling Vibranium.
