Other Info
Edwin Jarvis was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. During World War II, he ran away to join the Canadian Royal Air Force to fight for Britain against the Nazis as an underage pilot. This might be the time that he acquired his accent. Returning to the United States, he found a position as butler for Howard Stark and Maria Stark. He watched their mansion even after their death. (Click on the Starks' names above to learn more about them.)

The Starks' son, Tony, called the first meeting of the Avengers as Iron Man and donated the house as headquarters; therefore, it became the Avengers Mansion. Jarvis served the Avengers for many years on, acting as a father figure to some newcomers. He is the only person who has been with the Avengers for their entire existence, a distinction not even Captain America can claim. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about them.)

On occasion, Jarvis even shared various adventures with the Avengers. Once, early in his association with the team, Jarvis became desperate for money due to his mother's extreme illness. He accepted the money from the original Crimson Cowl (soon revealed to be the robot Ultron) in exchange for providing blueprints to the Avengers' mansion. Ultron captured the Avengers and hypnotized Jarvis to believe he was the Crimson Cowl. The Avengers soon turned the tables on Ultron and helped Jarvis regain his identity and restore his mother to health. Another time, Jarvis helped rescue the Judy Parks from Graviton. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about them. Note: Beware of a two pictures of women in very revealing outfits on Ultron's bio page.)

On time, Jarvis stood up to and fought the Bruiser (a neighborhood bully who robbed his mother). Furthermore, he inspired his mother's neighbors to join him in driving Bruiser out of the neighborhood. (To learn more about the the bully above, just click on his name.)

During an attack by the Masters of Evil on the mansion, Jarvis was severely beaten and almost lost an eye. However, Jarvis was rescued by the Avengers and took a leave of absence to recuperate. After he had healed from his injuries, Jarvis returned once again. However, soon after, the Avengers temporarily disbanded from active duty, and Jarvis was temporarily relieved. During this time, Jarvis met and began dating Glory Garsen. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about those characters. Note: Beware of a woman in a revealing outfit on the Masters of Evil's bio page.)

However, the Avengers reassembled and they expanded their "Ground Crew" to include other non-superhuman job duties, of which Jarvis enjoyed a senior position as "Chief of Staff." At one point, the Ground Crew was brainwashed by the Skeleton Crew into attacking the Avengers, although they were easily defeated and freed from the Skeleton Crew's control. When Crystal took up residence in the mansion with her daughter Luna, she brought with her a nanny, Marilla. Jarvis and Marilla became rivals over various domestic duties; however, over time they became fond of each other. Eventually, the Avengers' Ground Crew was dismissed and Jarvis remained the sole domestic worker for the mansion once again. (To learn more about the characters and crew above, just click on their highlighted names. Note: Beware of the very form-fitting outfit on Crystal's bio page.)

Later on, Jarvis was once again relieved of duty when the Avengers disbanded another time (this time presumably permanently due to the perceived death of many members by the entity known as Onslaught). During this time, Jarvis felt extremely displaced and sank into a depression, living off his pension from the Stark Foundation. However, once again, the Avengers returned and reassembled. And as always, Jarvis also returned to service, this time with a renewed sense of duty.

Recently, Jarvis revealed that he had been sponsoring a foreign child, Maria de Guadalupe "Lupe" Santiago, and had the opportunity to meet her in person as she came to New York for college. The Avengers soon discovered Lupe was the superhuman adventurer Silverclaw and was placed in Jarvis' sponsorship precisely because of his connection to the Avengers. Silverclaw aided the Avengers against the arms dealer Moses Magnum, and was later offered provisional membership in the group. (To learn more about the characters above, just click on their names.)

When Spider-Man joined Tony Stark's reassembled Avengers, he moved his family into Stark Tower. During this time, Jarvis started a romantic relationship with Spider-Man's Aunt May. (Click on the characters and place above to learn more about them.)

Jarvis in the Iron Man movies, is an Artificial Intelligence instead of an actual butler to Tony Stark. In the movies, J.A.R.V.I.S. stands for "Just A Really Very Intelligent System." The voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. is by Paul Bettany (he is shown in the second picture along side a picture of part of the computer system that is J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man movies.)

Weight
170 lbs.

Powers
As the Green Goblin after using the Goblin formula, Harry had enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, endurance, and healing, but at the cost of his sanity. Whether the Harry that is alive today has been affected by the Goblin formula is unrevealed.

Other Info
Harry Osborn is perhaps Peter Parker's first true friend. His upbringing was difficult due to the lack of nurturing warmth from his father, Norman Osborn. Harry lost his mother, Emily, before he turned one year old. Norman had little time for his son, and was frustrated by Harry's failure to demonstrate academic excellence or a competitive drive. Harry was unaware that his father had been permanently altered by a chemical explosion, and that his father had assumed a secretive criminal lifestyle as the Green Goblin. (However, according to later discoveries, it was revealed that Harry possibly had sabotaged the original Goblin formula, bitter at his father for consistently choosing work as a priority over his son). (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters.)

Harry graduated from Standard High and, along with friend Gwen Stacy, went to Empire State University (ESU). There, Harry and Gwen met Peter Parker. After some time, Harry and Peter became friends. Harry invited Peter to move in to his apartment rent-free (thanks to his father's wealth). Peter was able to repay Harry by helping him as a tutor. While Harry and Gwen socialized with Peter and aspiring model Mary Jane Watson, Peter and Gwen began to date and they fell in love. Mary Jane dated Harry, though she found flirting with Peter, the man she secretly knew was Spider-Man, irresistible. Mary Jane's flirting infuriated Harry. With the pressure of school, his father's high expectations, and rejection from Mary Jane, Harry turned to illegal drugs. One while he was high on drugs, Harry told Mary Jane that he forgave her for flirting with Peter; however, she became angry and broke up with him. Harry initially blamed his breakup on Peter for stealing Mary Jane's attention from him. Peter found out Harry had overdosed on LSD, and sought medical attention. Peter then confronted and beat up Harry's drug pusher, delivering the message that he should never return. (To learn about the characters and school above, just click on their highlighted names.)

Later on, the Green Goblin killed Gwen Stacy. Witnessing his father's apparent death battling Spider-Man, Harry was driven to the brink of madness. While no one was watching, he removed his father's mask and costume before the police discovered the body. Harry held Spider-Man responsible for his father's death.

Sometime later, Harry discovered his roommate's costume and secret identity. Insane and full of hate, he donned his father's costume and attacked Spider-Man as the new Green Goblin (shown as the first picture posted above. Harry was proficient in the use of his father's equipment as the Green Goblin including the Goblin Glider, exploding pumpkin bombs, razor-edged bats, gas-releasing ghosts, and laser-emitting gloves). With no superhuman powers, Harry was quickly defeated. Spider-Man removed the Goblin costume and paraphernalia from Harry before Harry was taken into custody. The police did not believe Harry's ravings that he was the Green Goblin since he looked too young. Therefore, they also did not believe Harry's claims that Peter was Spider-Man.

Harry was sent into psychiatric care under Dr. Barton Hamilton. Hamilton successfully cured Harry of his insanity, and induced him into forgetting about his life as the Goblin and his knowledge of Spider-Man's secret identity. (Click on the doctor's name above, to learn more about him.)

Harry returned home, and was reunited with his friends. He met Liz Allan, Peter's friend from Midtown High. The two began dating. Liz left for a short time, ashamed that Harry would not want to be with her after she was caught stealing for the sake of her step-brother, the Molten Man. Harry, however, accepted her when she returned to him. (To learn about the above highlighted characters, just click on their names.)

Under hypnosis Harry had revealed everything about the Green Goblin to Dr. Hamilton. Coveting the Goblin's power, Hamilton eventually decided to become the Green Goblin himself. Taking Harry prisoner, Hamilton infiltrated New York's criminal underworld as the Goblin and soon after encountered Spider-Man. Harry escaped captivity and also assumed the identity of the Goblin. Hamilton knocked Harry unconscious, but was then killed by the explosion of a bomb with which he had tried to kill both Harry and Spider-Man. Upon reviving, Harry had again lost the memory of being the Green Goblin and Spider-Man's secret identity.

Soon afterwards, Harry became the successor to his father and president of Osborn Industries. He eloped with Liz Allan, and moved first to Long Island and then to a large house in Englewood, New Jersey. Harry and Peter drifed apart during this time, but were reunited by the return of the Molten Man and rise of the Hobgoblin (Roderick Kingsley) threatening the Osborn family with demands for his father's strength enhancing serum. After a difficult labor, brought on by the trauma of facing the Hobgoblin, Liz gave birth to a son: Norman Harold Osborn. Peter and Mary Jane were asked to be the godparents. When the Parkers were evicted from their apartment, Harry and Liz took them in as tenants. (To learn about the Hobgoblin, just click on his name above.)

To defend his family from the Hobgoblin, Harry resumed his role as the Green Goblin. The stress began to take its toll, as Harry gradually lost mental stability again and returned to menacing Spider-Man as the Green Goblin. He kidnapped Mary Jane, and took her to the top of the Brooklyn Bridge where Gwen had died. Mary Jane refused to beg for her life, startling Harry to remember the love he felt for her, and promised she and Aunt May would be kept safe in the war between himself and Spider-Man. Harry remembered Peter's secret identity, and played mind games with Peter, making living in the apartment below the Osborns very uncomfortable. (Click on Aunt May's name to learn more about her.)

Harry enhanced his strength by taking a version of the Goblin serum, and tried to kill Spider-Man once and for all; however, the new formula was a failure and it poisoned him. In his final moments before death, Harry reverted back to being Peter's friend.

Later on, due to an time altering event, Harry has actually returned to life. In this new altered timeline, Harry has no memory of being the Green Goblin, nor of Peter Parker's alter-ego. He is now the owner of a chain of cafes based on his old college hangout, the Coffee Bean. He considers Peter his best friend, but he hates Spider-Man with a vengeance. In this timeline, he isn't married anymore, and he is currently dating Lily Hollister, daughter of New York District Attorney Bill Hollister. (Click on Lily's name above, to learn more about her.)

After some time, Harry is actually recruited by his father, Norman (now know as Iron Patriot), to join his new group Avengers called the "Dark Avengers." As a member of the Dark Avengers, Harry would have a armored suit and he would go by the alias, "America Son." However, both Harry and Norman had alternative motives to joining forces. (Click on the highlighted team above to learn more about them. Marvel.com doesn't have a good description of the Dark Avengers yet, but here is a link to a different website if you would like to learn more about the "Dark Avengers," http://www.comicvine.com/dark-avengers/65-55990/)

Later, Harry learned that Lily had, without Harry's knowing, received the Goblin serum from his father. The serum was absorbed into her skin, allowing her to transform into the Goblin. In an attempt to stop Lily, Harry donned the Green Goblin once again, and he wanted to inject Lily with a serum that would reverse the affects of the Goblin serum; however, she refuses. After this, Harry finds out that Lily and Norman had been working together to get Harry to join the Dark Avengers. Also, they planned on Harry to act as a martyr to increase the public's view of Norman's Dark Avengers team. Upon learning of the betrayal of Lily and Norman, Harry retaliates and dons the American Son armor and beats his father up. At the end of the battle, Harry tells his father that he won't consider himself Norman's son anymore.

After this, Harry is cut off financially from his father. Harry is then forced to move from his apartment, and is currently staying in Peter Parker's old room at Aunt May's. He has also begins secretly dating Peter's cousin, Amy Reilly.

Except for a couple twists, the movies did a pretty good job at staying to the storyline from the comics.

Later, while in New York City, Moira's husband, Joseph MacTaggert, beat and sexually assaulted her. This resulted in Moira being hospitalized for a week, and pregnant. From then on, Moira lived apart from her husband (he refused to grant her a divorce) and she kept the fact that he had a son secret from him for twenty years.

Moira forged a brilliant career as a leading geneticist, earning a Nobel Prize, and founded a Mutant Research Center on Muir Island off the coast of Scotland. After renewing contact with Xavier, they discussed the possibility of establishing a school for training mutants. Moira became Xavier’s silent partner in founding the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters and its’ first team of mutant students, the X-Men. (To learn about the above place, organization, and team, click on their names above.)

When Moira’s son, Kevin, began to manifest destructive superhuman mutant powers, she attempted to "cure" him; however, she couldn't "cure" him and she was forced to keep him imprisoned on the Island. General Ross

Real Name
General Thaddeus E. Ross

Occupatio
n
Adventurer; former assassin, lieutenant general, U.S. Air Force, stunt pilot

Citizenship
U.S.A.

Place of Birth
Unrevealed

Known Relatives
Karen Lee Ross (wife, deceased), Elizabeth Betty Ross-Banner (daughter), Glenn Talbot (son-in-law, deceased), Robert Bruce Banner (Hulk, son-in-law)

Group Affiliation
None; formerly Intelligencia, Code Red, Offenders, Operation: Hulk, United States Air Force Mobile Combat Force One (Hulkbusters and Area 102 Hulkbusters)

Education
Unrevealed

Height
6'1" (Ross); 7' (Red Hulk)

Weight
245 lbs. (Ross); 1200 lbs. (Red Hulk)

Eyes
Blue (Ross); Yellow (Red Hulk)

Hair
White, formerly brown (Ross); Black (Red Hulk)

Powers
Red Hulk possesses an incredible level of superhuman physical strength, stamina and durability. Unlike the Hulk, whose physical strength is potentially limitless due to the fact that the Hulk's strength increases with his level of anger, the Red Hulk becomes hotter as he grows angrier leaving huge amounts of residual radiation after a heated confrontation. This temperature increase may serve as a hindrance to the Red Hulk but that has yet to be determined.

The Red Hulk can also use his superhumanly strong leg muscles to leap great distances including into orbit around the Earth. The Red Hulk has shown to be nearly invulnerable to physical damage regardless of the cause, and has also shown the ability to regenerate damaged areas of tissue at an amazing rate. It is entirely possible that the Red Hulk also has the Hulk's resistance to extreme temperatures, poisons, and diseases but that, too, has yet to be revealed. However, as in outer space, Red Hulk can hold his breath for an extremely long amount of time and function normally, even under times of great duress.

An attribute of the Red Hulk which isn't known to many is what gives him his tremendous power. Red Hulk is able to absorb radiation, mostly gamma radiation, but he can also absorb other types such as cosmic radiation too. The more he absorbs, the more powerful he becomes.

At one time, Ross's mind controlled the form of Zzzax, and hence commanded Zzzax's powers. When his mind returned to his original body, Ross could still release some of Zzzax's electromagnetic energy at will for a time.

Abilities
Ross has proven himself to be a highly skilled armed and unarmed combatant as well as a master strategist, organizer and leader

Other Info
General Thaddeus E. Ross was born into a military family. Both his father and his grandfather served heroically in past American wars. As a boy, Thaddeus immersed himself in military history, and he learned how to fly by barnstorming at country fairs.

As a young man, Ross enlisted in the military, graduating first in his class at West Point. He then married Karen Lee, the daughter of his commanding officer at the time. Ross rapidly rose in rank to captain and then major while serving in his first war. Ross made a great reputation as a leader in combat; he received his nickname, "Thunderbolt," when his troops said he "struck like a thunderbolt" when leading them into action.

Ross had risen to the rank of colonel by the time he was sent to his next war, during which he became a general in the U.S. Air Force (Ross never rose beyond three-star general). As he gloried in combat, he was dissatisfied with the "desk jobs" he was given before and after the war.

Ross and his wife, Karen, had one daughter, Betty. However, when Betty was in her early teens, Karen died. (To learn about Betty Ross, click on her name above.)

General Ross came to command Desert Base, New Mexico, a missile base and nuclear research site. He resented the fact that Bruce Banner, a civilian, was appointed supervisor of the gamma bomb project. Moreover, the general had contempt for the nonathletic, intellectual Banner for failing to live up to Ross's own vision of true manhood. Making matters worse, Bruce and Betty started beginning a relationship together. (Click on the place and character above to learn more about them.)

Later, Banner was transformed into the Hulk as a result of intense radiation exposure during the first test of the gamma bomb. The savage Hulk quickly became a menace, and General Ross began his long career of hunting down the Hulk. Banner's frequent, unexplained absences made Ross suspect Banner of treasonous activity and of a possible alliance with the Hulk himself. To prove his suspicions, Ross brought Major Glenn Talbot to Desert Base as the new security chief. The Pentagon designated Ross as head of Operation: Hulk. (To learn more about the above operation and character, just click on their names.)

At times over the years, Ross succeeded in capturing the Hulk or Banner, but more often the Hulk thwarted the general's attempts to capture or kill him, or, even if captured, the Hulk soon managed to escape. Embittered by these failures, Ross grew even more determined to put an end to the menace of the Hulk.

In addition to the Hulk, Ross found himself in conflict with other superhuman foes, most notably the Leader and the Abomination. However, these menaces were defeated by the Hulk, forcing General Ross to regard the Hulk with a grudging respect. When Banner actually did gain control of the Hulk, Ross reluctantly approved Bruce and Betty's wanting to marry. However, the Leader sabotaged the process, transforming Banner back into the savage Hulk before they could be wed. Ross himself was injured in the ensuing conflict. (To learn about the above characters, just click on their name.)

Later on, the U.S. Government commissioned Operation: Greenskin, based out of Hulkbuster Base (a special site for operations to capture or kill the Hulk). Due to his experience, Ross was given command of the base and its troops (aka Hulkbusters). (Click on the above highlighted names to learn about the group, base, and operation above.)

General Ross was greatly pleased when Betty decided to marry a military man, Talbot, after she had come to believe that she would never have Banner as her husband.

Ross led a team of Hulkbusters to pursue the Hulk into the Arctic Circle where he was captured by the Gremlin. Ross was freed by the combined efforts of Glenn Talbot and Air Force colonel Jack Armbruster. However, in the process, Talbot was captured in his place and presumed by the others to be dead. As a result of his capture, Ross was relieved of command of Operation: Greenskin and replaced by Armbruster. Though officially on leave, Ross often accompanied Armbruster on Hulkbusters missions. After Armbruster was killed, Ross and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Clay Quartermain led a team that rescued Talbot. (Click the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters and team.)

Ross then rededicated his command post as Gamma Base, focusing even more on gamma research. However, injured when the Leader took over Gamma Base, Ross was pushed into a nervous breakdown by Moonstone, who used her psychiatric skills to crumble his psyche. Ross spent a length of time under the care of Doc Samson. During this time, Betty and Glenn Talbot were divorced, the funding for Gamma Base was canceled, and Glenn Talbot died while trying to kill the Hulk. (Click on the characters' names above to learn more about them. Note: Beware of Moonstone's bio page picture: very form-fitting outfit.)

Ross eventually recovered and returned to active duty. He set out to avenge Talbot's death, as well as getting revenge on the Hulk for his nervous breakdown. Ross was unable to regain funding for hunting the Hulk, but the President made him a special adviser at the Pentagon on matters relating to the dangers posed by the Hulk. However, soon after, Banner regained control of the Hulk, and the President pardoned him for all of his past offenses.

However, still convinced the Hulk was a menace, Ross made an alliance with both the Abomination and M.O.D.O.K. This effort, too, failed; when Betty Ross learned of these events, she was appalled, accusing her father of treason. Overwhelmed by shame, Ross nearly committed suicide in his office in the Pentagon. However, he instead dropped out of sight, during which time he was dishonorably discharged. Ross became a drifter, sinking increasingly further into insanity. (Click on the highlighted name above, to learn more about the character.)

Later, upon learning that Betty and the seemingly cured Bruce planned to marry, Ross attempted to stop the wedding at gunpoint. Ross shot Rick Jones when he tried to stop him, but Betty confronted her father and persuaded him to let the wedding proceed. Ross was hospitalized and placed under psychiatric care. (To learn about Rick Jones, click on his highlighted name above. Note: Beware of the a woman dressed in a revealing outfit in the background of the main picture on Rick Jones' bio page.)

Ross's old ally Clay Quartermain enabled Ross to participate in an experiment that would give him the powers of Zzzax. However, the experiment went awry and Zzzax absorbed Ross's consciousness, after which the Ross-controlled creature attacked Bruce Banner and Rick Jones. Ross/Zzzax fled after being forced to recognize that he himself was now a monster, and Ross's mind returned to his own body. Still retaining some electrical powers, Ross sacrificed his life, using that energy to destroy the mutant Nevermind which had briefly terrorized Gamma Base. (To learn about the above characters, just click on their highlighted names.)

Ross's body was taken by the Leader, who had the Soul Man restore it to a semblance of life as a nearly mindless servant, and placed it in the Redeemer armor after its previous occupant's death. He was recovered by the Troyjans, who fanned the spark of life within him and brought him to the Leader's Freehold Base where he eventually regained his memories and personality. (To learn about the characters and group above, just click on their names.)

Not long after this, Ross was restored to his previous position of Air Force General.

General Ross blamed Bruce for Betty's apparent death from radiation poisoning and went on to lead a new incarnation of the Hulkbusters. However, while pursuing the Hulk, he confronted the Abomination and learned that it was actually the Abommination who had poisoned Betty. Afterwards, Ross made his peace with Banner.

Later, Ross was coerced into working with General Ryker against the Hulk, but ultimately Ross helped the Hulk free himself and defeat Ryker's plot. Soon after, Ross pushed the Hulk into seeking out and badly beating the Abomination. After using his former enemy to gain the vengeance that he himself lacked the power to accomplish, Ross allowed Banner to leave in peace. (To learn about the above character, just click on his name.)

However, eventually General Ross had a change of heart and considered Banner to be a threat again. Ross again allied himself with M.O.D.O.K. and was given a place in a group founded by the Leader called the
Intelligencia. Their creation, the Red Hulk, worked closely together and were involved in several schemes (such as the assassination of the Abomination). Later, the Intelligencia wanted to send a message to the Red Hulk that he wasn't as untouchable as he believed, so Ross met the Red Hulk in the Redeemer armor. Ross was intending on killing the Red Hulk, but the Red Hulk's rage was too great and it was General Ross who was actually killed. (Click on the character and group's names above to learn more about them.)

Alicia Masters

Real Name
Alicia Reiss Masters

Occupation

Sculptress

Citizenship
Citizen of the United States of America

Place of Birth
New York City, New York

Known Relatives
Phillip Masters (stepfather), Marcia Reiss Masters (mother, deceased), Jacob Reiss (father, deceased)

Group Affiliation
Associate of Fantastic Four

Education
B.A. in Fine Arts

Height
5' 4"

Weight
110 lbs.

Eyes
Pale brown

Hair
Reddish blonde

Powers
She has no super powers, though she has temporarily possessed superhuman capabilities in the past. As a spider-creature, she had eight spider-legs, could project webbing from her mouth, and was immensely strong and durable. As the Bride of Nephrus, Alicia could project energy bolts through her crown. Alicia’s interstellar body-suit gave her quantum sight, the ability to see the universe’s energy patterns. She could manipulate those patterns to fly, an activate pre-existing dimensional gates. The suit offered protection against cosmic strength forces, but numbed Alicia’s emotions.

Abilities
Alicia is an accomplished, world-renowned, neo-realist sculptress. Due to being blind, she is capable of sensing things other people can't, such as another's heartbeat or general presence.

Other Info
When Alicia Masters was young, there was a laboratory explosion that killed her father and made her blind. Alicia's mother married her father's partner, Phillip Masters (aka future Puppet Master). After her mother died, Phillip raised Alicia alone. (To learn about Alicia's step-father, click on the highlighted name above.)

One day, the Puppet Master revealed to Alicia a puppet of himself in a king’s crown and robe. He announced that he would control the world with his puppets. But, she resisted him, and in a struggle she tipped over his puppet, pushing him out of a window, seemingly to his death.

Eventually, Alicia became friends with the Fantastic Four. She quickly befriended the Thing, and they soon began a romantic relationship that also lasted many years. (To learn about the Fantastic Four and/or the Thing, just click on their names.)

Unfortunately, her stepfather did not die and he soon returned to plague the Fantastic Four, and Alicia, for many years.

When the Silver Surfer first led Galactus to Earth, the Surfer was struck temporarily unconscious by a blow from the Thing. During this time, Alicia took care of the Surfer, who was touched by her compassion. Because of Alicia's care for the Surfer, he realized the worth of the human race, and went on to betray Galactus in defense for the humans. The Surfer later returned to Alicia, but their friendship didn't last long because the Thing grew jealous and fought with the Surfer, believing the Surfer would win Alicia away from him. (To learn about the two characters above, just click on their highlighted names.)

Alicia was later kidnapped by the Enclave in order to use her blindness and skills as a sculptress to sculpt a bust of their creation, Warlock (he initially gave off too much light for a sighted person to withstand). But, the Fantastic Four came to her rescue and teleported her out of the Enclave's base of operations. (To learn about the above character and group, click on their names above.)

Over time, Alicia and Thing's relationship grew stronger, and they even considered marriage several times. However, Ben's membership in the Fantastic Four continued to put Alicia at risk and she was occasionally kidnapped or used against the Thing. A couple of the most notable kidnaps were when she mutated into a spider-monster at the hands of Hydra and when she was transformed into the Egyptian bride of Nephrus. At one point, Alicia was hospitalized after a brutal attack by Annihilus, and her relationship with the Thing grew troubled. Both came to the conclusion that their courtship should end, but before they could act on it, the Thing was taken to the Beyonder's Battleworld and Alicia was kidnapped by Skrulls. One of the Skrulls named Lyja took Alicia's place and faked her identity for a long period time, even starting a romance with and eventually marrying the Human Torch. When the Fantastic Four eventually rescued the real Alicia, she and the Thing officially ended their romance, though they still remain good friends. (Click on the highlighted names above to learn more about the characters, place, and race. Note: Beware of the Beyonder's skin tight, or possibly lack off, outfit on her bio page. Also, Lyja's bio page has her in a slightly revealing outfit.)

Recently, Alicia traveled into space with the Silver Surfer, and was given an interstellar body-suit by the alien robot Cy-phyrr 4. (Her suit is shown in the fifth picture posted).
