Powers
Johnny can cover his body in fire, fly at supersonic speeds, project fireballs or other fire objects, manipulate existing flame, and absorb heat with some mental strain. He can generate a nova-level burst of flame, one million degrees Fahrenheit, although this usually exhausts his powers for some time. Under normal usage, he is able to maintain his flame form for up to 17 hours.

Johnny briefly gained the powers of the Invisible Woman, which included the ability to turn himself and others invisible, and generate powerful force fields. Cosmically enhanced by Galactus, these powers were greatly amplified, and he could traverse space as well as analyze and manipulate all forms of matter.

Abilities
An expert mechanic since his teens, Johnny was able to totally overhaul a car's transmission by the age of 15. Johnny also has experience as a professional race car driver.

Other Info
Johnny Storm was nearly chosen as the human host of the demonic Zarathos, the Ghost Rider. He could have been the Ghost Rider! Crazy huh?!

Johnny called himself Human Torch in tribute to the World War II era hero of the same name. (Little do people know, but this WWII Human Torch was actually the one that killed Adolf Hitler, at least that's how Hitler died in the Marvel Universe. The WWII Human Torch was not human, he was an android that was created by another man.) For more information about the WWII Human Torch click on the following link, http://www.marvel.com/universe/Human_Torch_(Jim_Hammond).

Spider-man and the Human Torch have been good friends every since they were both teenagers. (I wouldn't mind seeing a Spider-man/Fantastic Four movie spin-off with just the Human Torch and Spider-Man! I think that would be pretty sweet!)

At one point, Galactus claimed Johnny as his new herald. (Remember Galactus from the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer movie? He was the planet-eating thing in outerspace that the Silver Surfer was being the herald for.) Unwilling to lead Galactus to populated worlds, Johnny used his new powers (he temporarily had his powers switched with his sister, Invisible Woman, at the time) to analyze Galactus and, with the help of the Fantastic Four and Quasar, managed to transform Galactus back into humanoid form. With the help of his brother-in-law, Reed Richards (a.k.a. Mister Fantastic) he was able to switch his powers back with the Invisible Woman.

Johnny Storm has gone through a many relationships and pretty much every single one turns out bad. He even ends up marrying one at one point, but then finds out that it was someone else impersonating the person he married. Group Affiliation
Formerly Marauders, X-Men, Xavier Institute Student Body, X-Corps, Brotherhood Of Mutants, X-Factor, Freedom Force, DARPA

Education
Unrevealed

Height
5'10" (variable)

Weight
120 lbs.

Eyes
Yellow, no visible pupils (variable)

Hair
Red (variable)

Powers
Mystique can psionically shift the atoms of her body to duplicate any humanoid of either sex, wearing any kind of clothing. She can precisely duplicate another person’s retina pattern, finger, palm and skin-pore patterns, and vocal cords. She can increase her volume, but not her mass. Mystique’s power grants her age retardation, increased healing, and immunity to drugs and poisons.

Abilities
Mystique is a highly skilled combatant, actress, marksman, and strategist in terrorist and commando operations.

Other Info
There is not much information on the early years of Mystique. But, she has been able to shape-shift since an early age. Mystique is the mother of Nightcrawler. Another thing that I thought was interesting is that she had a child with Victor Creed (a.k.a. Sabretooth). Their son, Graydon Creed, was born with no mutant abilities and eventually became an anti-mutant activist. Mystique was also the foster mother of another mutant, Rogue. It seems that Mystique intertwines herself in many other mutant's lives. (For more concerning these different people in Mystiques life, click on their names above.)

Mystique organized the third incarnation of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, which originally consisted of herself, Avalanche, the Blob, Destiny, and Pyro. Mystique named her group after the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, an organization founded by Magneto. Mystique's Brotherhood clashed with the X-Men and the Avengers, along with other heroes.

Anti-mutant sentiment among normal human beings had greatly increased, and the federal government launched its own covert anti-mutant program, Project: Wideawake. At this point, Mystique decided to offer the Brotherhood's services to the government. The governement agreed only after thy proved their loyalty by capturing Magneto. The Brotherhood (now renamed Freedom Force) succeeded in bringing Magneto to the authorities (only because he voluntarily surrendered to them). Soon after, the Freedom Force was officially entered into the government's employ. In return, as Freedom Force's leader, Mystique received a Presidential pardon for all criminal charges against her. Even for a time, Mystique worked for Professor Charles Xavier and the X-Men. Mystique has worked for both evil and good forces. And it's still a mystery as to which side she truly is fighting for.

Some may be thinking to themselves, "Wasn't her name Raven Darkholme in the movies?" Well, actually that was just a name that she used for awhile, but like it says under the "Real Name" section above, her real name is unrevealed. (To learn more about the different names that Mystique has used, her history of fighting for both good and evil, and/or for the general history of Mystique click the following link, http://www.marvel.com/universe/Mystique.

Villain Poll Results

Well, half of those people that voted want to see villains highlighted every other week. The other half that voted want to see villains highlighted less than that. So, to best suit everybody's wants, I have decided to make a compromise...I will be highlighting a villain every two or three weeks. That way those that want to see villains highlighted every other week, will be able to see villains highlighted very often, and those that want to see more heroes rather than villains will only have to learn about a villain every three or sometimes two weeks.

Thank you for everyone that participated in the voting. I'm glad I was able to get a feel as to what you guys would like to see on this blog. This blog definitely wouldn't be that much fun if you guys didn't visit, vote, leave comments, etc. So, thank you again. You guys definitely have the MADNESS!!!

Height
6'6"; (transformed) 7'5"

Weight
250 lbs., (transformed) 500 lbs.

Eyes
Blue, (transformed) Silver

Hair
Black

Powers
Colossus can transform his body tissue into an organic, steel-like substance that grants him superhuman strength and a high degree of imperviousness to injury. His armored form can withstand ballistic penetration as well as temperature extremes from 70º above absolute zero (-390º F) to approximately 9000º F. Colossus cannot become partially or selectively armored; his body is either entirely converted, or not at all. Even his eyes become steel-like.

Through an act of will, Colossus can transform virtually instantaneously into his armored state, and can remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. Once in his armored form, Colossus remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal. If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form. In his armored state, Colossus retains his normal human mobility, though his endurance and speed are enhanced. He does not need to breathe while transformed, but it is believed that he could not survive for long in a vacuum.

Abilities
Colossus is talented in drawing and painting.

Other Info
As you can see by the "Known Relatives" section above, Colossus is a decedent of the Rasputin from Russian history.

Colossus actually becomes romantically involved with Kitty Pryde (a.k.a. Shadowcat). You can check out more information on her if you click on her name above, but you might remember her from all of the X-Men movies. She didn't have a major role until the third movie, X-Men: The Last Stand. (She's the one that can run through walls.)

After seeing just a quick cameo of Colossus in X2, and when they didn't develop his character anymore in that movie, it drove me insane! But I'm glad that they had him as a bigger character in the third movie, X-Men: The Last Stand. I thought that they did a great job with Colossus in that movie!

Here's an interesting fact that might spark your interest to read a little bit more about Colossus...he actually dies at one point, but that's not the end of him. (Originally) Brown; (currently) Bluish-black

Powers
The Beast possesses superhuman strength, agility, endurance, and speed, despite his bulk. He possesses the agility of a great ape and the acrobatic prowess of an accomplished circus aerialist. His physiology is durable enough to allow him to survive a three story fall by landing on his feet without suffering any broken bones or sprains. The Beast's legs are powerful enough to enable him to leap approximately 15 feet high in a standing high jump, and around 25 feet in a standing broad jump. He can also run on all fours at approximately 40 miles per hour for short sprints.

The Beast can crawl up brick walls by wedging his fingers and toes into the smallest cracks and applying a vice-like grip on them, as well as walk a tightrope with minimal effort. He is adept in performing complicated sequences of gymnastics such as flips, rolls, and springs, and can also walk on his hands for many hours. Further, his manual and pedial dexterity are so great that he can perform multiple tasks such as writing with both hands at once or tie knots in rope with his toes.

The Beast possesses enhanced senses, the ability to secrete pheromones to attract members of the opposite sex, as well as a slight healing factor that allows him to regenerate minor wounds and recover quickly from minor ailments such as colds. Hank was made fun of in school because he had unusually large hands and feet. The nickname the kids called him was "Beast." I guess the name just stuck for the rest of his life.

Beast has gone through many experiences throughout his life that has altered the way he looks (as you can tell by the different pictures above). To find out more about Beast, click on this link, http://www.marvel.com/universe/Beast.
